Do you use a powerball, what are your best scores?

I haven't been on my NDS 'Signature Series' powerball for a few months. Today I decided to give it a try and got 10,575 on my first session. My record for this powerball a few months ago was in the 12,000's, so it looks like I've lost some speed from not practicing.

I was just wondering if using a powerball would help with getting good at spinners in Osu!, since it uses the same kind of circular motion? Also, what are your powerball scores, and how do you rate yourself with spinners in Osu?

The current world record holder for a regular powerball is Akis Kritsinelis, with a score of 16,553 RPM. Akis also holds a world record for a metal powerball with a score of 14,091 RPM, and he's also the best at dual powerballs too, with a score of 31,816.

Highest I've got is around 12000.
I love it when people think they have to spin themselves, or shake it.

I ordered a powerball (probably some Chinese imitation one) from deal extreme for like 8 bucks. Apparently it helps with badminton.
Post my scores when I try it out.

No, they don't. I just put your theory to the test and weighed myself whilst using a powerball. I weighed just the same regardless of whether the powerball was spinning or not. :)

Well, as you spin the powerball faster and faster you have to grip harder on it because it jumps around in your hand. You can feel the force from the powerball pushing on your fingers, wrist and arm as you spin it at high speeds. A powerball gives a very good muscle workout overall, since it can strengthen ALL of the muscles in your arms, fingers and wrist that regular exercises can't touch. It can even be used at slower speeds to help heal RSI and carpal tunnel syndrome if a person has it. :)

I assume that a powerball works out your muscles in a gyroscopic sense, with the spinning weight inducing some kind of torque or moment. I just wanted to apply some of the stuff I learnt in uni last semester :P
Maybe I'll be able to crush my a4tech mouse in my hand

If you get good at using a metal powerball you probably would easily be able to do this. I've heard that the metal ones are almost impossible to grip when they're spinning at high speeds. You really need a grip stronger than a vice for these metal powerballs. At the moment I'm not very good at the regular powerballs, so I'll leave the metal one till I improve my scores and get a stronger grip. :D
