Are Sanwa Arcade buttons good for Osu?

I'm asking because I'm thinking of building a controller that I can use on multiple Rhythm games (Osu, DJmax, Stepmania, Project Diva) and I was just wondering if Sanwa buttons are comparable to a mechanical keyboard w/ Cherry MX red switches.

My personal guess is yes because they are used for fighting games which (I've heard) require really fast and precise combos within a few frames of each other. has anyone tested this or had a similar idea?

Thank you in advance~

(pardon me if I'm using the wrong terminology)

it sounds like it'd be fine input delay wise if they're used by a competitive fighting game community, i don't think you'd get a very similar feeling to cherry reds, though

The feel of Cherry reds is nice but I am a pretty big fan of how arcade buttons feel. :D That and I don't really want to get a full mechanical keyboard due to how loud they are, and the few mechanical keypads I've seen don't look all that great...

red switches are linear so they don't click anymore than a normal jeyboard
