You can just give other people chips for free, so it completely depends on the 2 players. Heck, they could even play other maps than the one listed in the pool, and give the winner a chip by gifting one.
I was on the line of thinking that they would have to link the multiplayer match to the referee...Omgforz wrote:

Nope, first round is honestly just a ice breaker.Almost wrote:

lol so do we play against each other now? Sorry, little lost.
ISR doesn't reflect rank now that matches have begun. Here is the formula for determining the BASE ISR by rank:Novarythmic wrote:
Sorry for stupid question, but what are the variables to calculate one's ISR? I tried to associate it with rank but it does not match.
((30 - SQRT(SQRT(Rank))) * 100)

why not make a new channel like #OIC 2014, so participants can discuss with each other to arrange a match..
I think that's more to do with the fact that a lot of people don't know how to start a game.Nwolf wrote:
don't think more referees are needed, especially since I'm sitting in osu for 3 hours now and nobody feels like playing, apparently.
Because you have competed you would not be capable of being a referee. (You could be subconsciously biased against those you lost to)Yoshi_green wrote:
May I resign from this tournament and become a referee? Mainly for three reasons:
1) I noticed there's a shortage of refs in this tournament, and since I'm online for 12 hours during the weekends, I think I can help by making things faster when there's a line of players waiting to play.
2) I suck. (Look at my match record)
3) My luck sucks. (Magic Girl picked 3 times in 10 games, what)
Anyways, if that's possible, I'll try my best as a ref; if not, then I wish everybody good luck
If you're looking for a match the easiest way to find one is to tell a referee that is online.fabbbyyy v2 wrote:

i don't understand with the chip, what the means of chip?
Your chips will be sent as soon as I can get everything together. The family emergency just took a turn for the worse, and it looks bad. BUT, I will do my best to make sure that it doesn't effect this tournament too much.silmarilen wrote:
im going to resign from this tournament because i just cant find the motivation to do multiplayer matches, im giving all my chips to synchrostar

Anyone that goes without a match every week will be given a preset match. These matches will be chosen based on rank. (If you have 12+ chips you no longer fall into this rule)The following people have until the next friday to complete their matches or they forfeit a chip, if both players do not respond they both lose a chip!
Peppy may be giving me access to the spectator client and I will begin recording the matches when he does.Myke B wrote:
