Really? How so? I'm always open to constructive criticism!boat wrote:
Sorry to say but your so called music is absolutely cack.
I'm a bit surprised you don't realize yourself that it's pretty bad.glados666 wrote:

The production quality low, nothing is blended and just sound like a bunch of '(very shoddy) samples slapped together.
You're obviously still new to it though so that's okay. Keep at it I guess.
well, if these are the types of comments you're looking forJarby wrote:
So what you're saying is that I need to post music in General Discussion so people will actually comment on it

Well, I make more then just Speedcore/Hardcore. I already uploaded an 8-bit song and will upload more!mrdumpling64 wrote:
But in all seriousness though, I would have to agree with what boat said.
Hardcore/speedcore music isn't really my taste anyway
Don't feel let down though.
I don't mind criticism at all! Public criticisms will help me with my future stuff. Now I know what to do, and not to do so that one day, someone will use my video as an example like this lol :pskibblesx wrote:
Okay this is coming from a TRUE gabber for the past few years and so yeah know whats going on here
Lack of Bass and Reverb as well as atmosphere, every kick should have a really thick bassline as well as something to fade over into the next kick
Also please refrain from using generic samples from FL Studio.
Also try and create a melody about half way through the song to you know, spice it up (((This tracks a good example of arena/atmospheric gabber))
You're new to this but this isn't something you should put up for public criticisms
Well, I still will upload them as "guidance". I gotta learn from my mistakes!skibblesx wrote:
Yeah but it's still something to follow, gabber/hardcore/speedcore/hybrid fall under some basic principles.
Right now work on meating up your tracks and using better VSTs, stock isn't the best for these kinds of things
Stock vsts are pretty workable in most DAWs and a competent sound designer should be capable of utilizing virtually any of them to make basic sounds albeit with a preference for certain guis. Sytrus is unashamedly my favourite synth for example. That being said, stock samples are a bit hit and miss though and FL's in particular are limited (dunno if they've improved it in the latest version). At the end of the day, generators are a lot more versatile than straight samples and there's a whole lot you can do even with a synth like 3xOsc.skibblesx wrote:
