Hmm, personally I would exclude ZUN as an arranger, since he is essentially the progenitor of all the touhou music that gets arranged/remixed around.. (I haven't looked if he has re-arranged any of his own/old tracks though)



All are highly recommended !

Here are my select dozen:

1. REDALiCE from ALiCE'S EMOTiON

2. MORRIGAN from WAVE

3. Lix from Levo Lution

4. nagi

5. JOYH-TV from Team UD, SNB, etc

6. Kyuhouji & Tokunan (who both form the famous unit Demetori)

7. Dobu Usagi from dBu Music

8. Kurenainagi Tabibito

9. Tsukasa Yatoki/TSUKASA from Arte Refact & Sound Online

10. Nhato

11. Masayoshi Minoshima from Alstroemeria Records

12. Myon from MyonMyon & Barrage Am Ring


Special mention to the now-defunct publisher Liverne who went out to produce awesome stuff.

As far as arrangers go (as opposed to vocalists) I'd definitely throw Beatmario, myu314 (both from COOL&CREATE), Forest306, Azure&Sands, Kokuchou, Crouka, t=NODE, marasy8, TAM and Atoguru in here as well. (Granted I'm repeating a couple of them from other replies)

Yeah actually i was not sure. i just remember the map zts - Captain Murasa by Natteke, it was a delicious arrangement though.

I love Demetori the most out of just touhou arrangers. Other than that, zts also does occasional touhou stuff and is another artist I listen to a lot.
You guys should check cYsmix btw, he's getting better and better at electronic touhou arranges and is, in my opinion, very promising artist.

Ha, so I've listened to his touhou stuff unknowing of the fact that it was muryokuP. TLMC tends to list the vocalist as the artist if there is any.

EastNewSound,
Demetori,
and ZUN

I don't know too much about the singers though
As for arranges and stuff, I listen to a lot of touhou jazz so uhh
I quite like DDBY and Bizen. Sound Holic is more popular, but not my favorite. It's still nice though.

Also, I like warinside (BLANKFIELD), Teto (Foreground Eclipse), Pine Tree (UNDEAD CORPORATION, particularly the more traditional-sounding "oni metal" albums).

For vocals, I like Ranko (moreso with Sally than Buta Otome), Merami/Meramipop, and Chata.

Not a huge fan of touhou but I always liked their stuff when I was listening.

ichigo has such a unique voice, and minami really stands out of all the artists in IOSYS.
I suppose Ranko has a nice voice as well, but I've only heard one arrange with her, and it's a duet with ichigo:

IOSYS in itself is amazing.. It has such variety. I can't say I love all of their PVs, but some are definitely wonderfully catchy, like Convictor Yamaxanadu and Miracle∞Hinacle.
