Hello Osu community.
I'm AcuaArkane and I am here because I was ignored.
Here's the story.
So I went on Osu chat and wrote something that some would feel is offensive and shouldn't be on chat,
however I didn't found it in a rules so I went for it. I wrote "8==D~~O:". As you could expect I was silenced.

You might think "what's the big deal? It's just a silence!", but it's more than that to me, I felt like I had been looked down upon.
Now you would have an idea that this could go into IRC rule section 3. "No discussion of 18+ content such as sexual stuff."
Nevertheless are some points I'd like to point out about this particular rule and those would be loopholes.
Firstly, 18+ content could not be only sexual that could include both, usage of smokes or alchohol.
So, thereotically, we could can get punished for that.
Secondly, "sexual stuff" (this is where it get fun) well, "sexual stuff" can be interpreted by different people
differently, some people would find this "(. Y .)" a represantation of female's breasts, to some, however it
might only be a pair of parentheses, dots and a capital y, some people might find feet sexy, some people don't etc.
There are, however things that are worldly accepted as sexual content such as sexual intercourse, porn films,
female, male reproduction organs, etc. And there is no arguement againts that. That said, I don't think a collection
of number eight, two equals, capital d two waves, capital o and ":" is worldy recognised as sexual content, correct me if I'm wrong.
My point is - this rule is very unclear and it can be interpreted differently, so mods can silence you for anything they
find as sexual content, which might not be to others. You can use this policy sure, but its very unprofessional and
just creates more confussion just like happened in my case.
I felt that punishment was unjustified so when silence ended I seeked out mod who punished me.
LoliFlan presented himself/herself as the one who punished me so I chatted on lobby a bit, then went on PM.
LoliFlan didn't show a great interest in talking to me(which is poor performance in my opinion), what he told in summary was:
"This should be common sence, you deserve it, no dicks."
Which equavelent to almost nothing due to my previous arguements. And this moderator went as far as to insult me.
He didn't even apologise.
You can see it clearly in this screenshot.

*As you can see this moderator interprets dicks as an equivalent to "fuck my ass".

This made me to develop quite an image of atlest one of the moderators, it shows great incompetence and unprofessionalism.
While you might think this is not improtant, but you can't ignore the fact that LoliFlan insulted me, it seems to me that some
moderators might have a god complex, which is nothing wrong, but its not great either.
I am not an angel, but I do feel that silence was unjustified.

I am trying to bring attention on some of the flaws of moderators and rules, because I feel that rules and moderation should be
handled with great care and not by moderators with a possible god complex.

And as a closing though I expect an apology from this moderator LoliFlan, a correction in your rules and removal of 1 strike.
I would hope some action would be taken or a throughout explanation on my punishment.
Please bring in your arguements, if you have any. I will gladly discuss futher if you do wish to do so.

There is no need for a rule "don't put this, don't put that"

Use your common sense.

All-Purpose Rule #3 wrote:

As a catch-all safeguard, circumventing order and civility via loopholes in the rules is punishable at the sole discretion and judgment of the administrative team. An official rule stating that you should not be a douche should not be required for you to not be a douche, but just in case: don't be a douche.
You knew perfectly well that emote is inappropriate, and are trying to justify its use via a loophole in the rules. Don't.
