Breaking it temporarily to answer this: I am making a point this time, to show people just how terrible those types of suspicions are. They're almost universally a waste of time based on entirely subjective based opinion that is basically un-arguable. Maybe it makes them feel better because they have some sort of hidden list of meta they can throw out at people but it simply annoys me because it gets in the way of logical play. That and it's almost always wrong (outside the lucky guesses). This doesn't only apply to Caligno, it's a blanket statement to everyone who thinks their hidden reads are mega awesome and useful.Raging Bull wrote:

You failed the reaction test. That's where a significant amount of the suspicion is coming from.
In case anyone was wondering, my reasoning before was the cause and not the result of the reaction test.
Breaking again: So basically you're going to try and use a "reaction test" result on someone who was already at the edge for that type of play (ie baseless crap). You'd be a terrible researcher with that amount of bias. It's like me whacking a brick wall until breaking point, bringing someone over and shattering it with the final blow and saying "Brick walls are not structurally integral!"

Oh yeah for that reason, I always am doubtful about reaction tests (bias - and this is for both the inherent test and the intepretation). I'm constantly questioning Sakura's play because hers are almost as appalling.

Um, you might want to read that again as to why they are silly, there's a line of explanation if you have the functionality to understand it (to sum it up: they basically take an action or post which usually indicates nothing and try to make a read off it). Let's go as far as this example of "RPing is a scumtell!" - anyone of any alignment can RP during an RVS and it's absolutely grabbing at straws if you think you can draw meaningful conclusions from it.
Let's make another example: I'm a terrorist and I like to dance - those kids over there like to dance too, therefore those kids are terrorists. Meaningful.
In the end though I'm assuming you actually agree with those types of plays so I think I'm wasting my breath here. I wonder if you actually believe I am scum or simply just don't like my opinion on the matter. I don't think Rantai's actions are indicative to scum. I feel his frustration is genuine, though a bit overdone. Null tell for Rantai.
Royston's actions, i.e. voting for Quotes was fine, but there's something about his excuse which bothers me. He said that he voted Quotes as a joke, implying he knew he was confirmed town, but said later that he was "misreading" it into Rantai - saying he thought Rantai was confirmed town. Which makes his earlier justification of voting Quotes a contradiction.

The initial post about my vote on you not being random was true, but I was hoping you'd do something that was easy to read. Instead of trying to figure out what I was seeing, you immediately knee jerked and assumed my reason, then tried to discredit it. Honestly, I think I'm going to ask for Replacement. I'm just not feeling the drive to actually play and finely comb though a mafia game right now. Rather pass this slot to someone else than be a liability to town.
