welcome buddies to the universe of Marvel, more precisely, Marvel Avengers Alliance. for a better experience in this thread, i'll inform through this thread any news relevant to Marvel Avengers Aliance.
Marvel Avengers Alliance is a Flash-based game developed by Playdom, a subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company. It is a turn-based social network game released on Facebook at March 1, 2012, and on Playdom's official website at July 10, 2012. The mobile version was released on iOS devices on 13 June 2013.

Gameplay
Players take control of an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. and can fully customize the agent by gaining experience, leveling up, and equipping their agents with various weapons and uniforms obtained within the game. They can also team up with up to two out of the current available Marvel heroes in the game, each with their unique skills and abilities. Players start with only a few heroes, and the other heroes are locked. These heroes are needed to be recruited first by buying them with "Command Points," a currency in the game, complete Special Operations, etc.
The gameplay itself consists of turn-based fights that pit your agent and heroes against one or more waves of three or less enemies, with each character having unique attacks. There are six character classes, each with a specific strength and a specific weakness to one of the other classes, except for the class Generalist, which has neither strengths nor weaknesses.

The Reality Number of this Marvel Universe is Earth-TRN259.

Classes
There are five Classes in Marvel: Avengers Alliance. All Classes are strong against one other Class, and weak against another. Every Hero and Enemy can have a class. Any without a class are a Generalist, with no strengths or weaknesses.

List of classes:
Generalist(depicted by a white pentagon)
Blaster(depicted by a red burst)
Bruiser(depicted by a blue shield)
Scrapper(depicted by a yellow fist)
Infiltrator(depicted by a purple wing)
Tactician(depicted by a green spiral)

Each Hero and Enemy that is not Generalist gains a Class Bonus when attacking an enemy which class is strong against
Blasters always score a Critical Hit against Bruisers(Focused Attacks), Bruisers stats raise when attacking or are attacked by Scrappers(Enraged), Scrappers always get a follow-up attack against Infiltrators(Close Quarters Combat), Infiltrators always gain a counter-attack when attacking or they are attacked by Tacticians(Combat Reflexes) and Tacticians always get an extra turn when attacking or are attacked by Blasters(Tactical Maneuvers). each Class bonus cannot be stacked more than once, except for Bruiser Enraged, which can be stacked up to twice.

Spec Ops Article
Special Operations are limited time challenges where players can earn unique Boss items through battle and even a new hero by completing specified objectives. Once the time for the mission has expired, the hero is put back in the vault. Special Operations can be accessed from the Flight Deck or the Mission screen.
While normal missions require 10 energy to access battles, Spec Ops also require Unstable Iso-8 to do the events. It costs Unstable Iso-8 for battles and for Deploy missions. It can be obtained through gifts from friends, dropped in battles or deploys, or purchased from the store However, once the mission is expired that flavor of Unstable Iso-8 goes away with it.

Players can do both Story Missions and Special Operations at the same time without aborting the other. All Special Operation Missions scales difficulty to the players' agent level, much like premium missions, as opposed to free missions, which a fixed agent level was given and was scaling difficulties to agent level after the mission was 5-starred.

Spec Ops 1 cost 5 Unstable Iso-8 for both Battles (including Bosses and Mini-Bosses) and Deploy Missions, while Spec Ops 2 has changed to 10 Unstable Iso-8 for Low / Medium / High Threat Battles and Deploy Missions, and 20 Unstable Iso-8 for Mini-Boss and Boss Battles.

In Special Operations 1, players were required to 5-star all scenes to recruit Mockingbird. Starting with Special Operations 2, players were instead required to complete 25 Tasks in order (as opposed to 5-starring all scenes).

As of now, there are 13 Special Operation Chapters, with Infinity available for play until October 15.
