Anyone who gets those 25K pokemiles - 50K if they buy both X and Y - deserve it.
I wish I could get both, especially since I'm so torn as to which one to get at the moment >_<

As far as I know, the differences are:
1) Each have their own Mega Mewtwo evolution; X's is taller and part-Fighting while Y's has an OP Sp. Atk. stat (and is only Psychic).
2) X's Legendary, Xerneas, is deer-like in appearance and is the new type--Fairy--while Y's Legendary, Yveltal, is a Dark/Flying bird. (A note: Fairy is super effective against Fighting, Dark, and Dragon; more info here.)
The only minor difference that I know of is other version exclusives, obviously.

I'm torn as to which to get because I like Xerneas more, but I also like Mega Mewtwo Y...
you could ask someone to trade a Mewtwo equipped with the Mewtwonite Y to your X Version. or buy both versions.

Pretty sure the games will give us one (and that we'll be able to catch Mewtwo), but I don't want to have to breed/soft reset for a female Eevee with the Nature I want, especially with their horrible female ratio, when I already have one 
A used B2/W2 probably goes for $30-35 USD since they're high value games (of course they'd be!). B/W would probably go for around that much as well, if not a bit cheaper.

What are you referring to, specifically? If you mean JUST X/Y without any transferring, you won't be able to without the help of future events. Otherwise, have fun transferring from all the way back to Gen III games (or Gen IV, depending on which Pokémon were brought back).battler077 wrote:

the ENTIRE pokedex, from Kanto to Kalos
I pretty much completed it on my White 2 (I just need two more Regis, but I don't feel like transferring the ones I have on my Gen III/IV games unless I can't find a Black 2 user with all the Keys in real life), so I can see it being possible.

not sure how i feel about this pokebank thing at the moment. just feels like a easy way for them to try make more money 
and if pokebank/poke transporter is the only way to transfer from gen V to gen VI, then i'll be very disappointed with nintendo

As long as they keep the Japanese price of 500 yen a year for other territories - 5 USD, for example - then I'm fine with it. I need more space anyways.

I hope not. I wouldn't mind if they did another minigame thing to transfer six Pokémon at a time, even if it ends up having a day-cooldown restriction like the Gen IV games AND you needed another system (3DS/DS/etc.) to do it.Rorona wrote:

Though, I think $5 for annual fee is pretty negligible considering you are also getting a whole bunch of free space like Pokemon Box (GC).
Also, we may not even need to cheat anymore for competitive battle, since EV training seems to be pretty easy for X & Y, while also revealing the exact stats for it. Ofcourse, getting perfect IV for Hidden Power is going to be a pain, but I always thought that was too much of a privilege for SpA pokemons.
