Made me realize There's not a huge difference between high silver and high gold. Everyone still makes retardedly dumb decisions.
I find it fun to go against players that are a little better mechanicly wise (Or maybe I'm better than I think I am and I have the skill of a high gold but meh, I don't really know, like i said I've barely noticed any major difference)

The best thing I've actually extracted from him whenever I ask him how he got to D1 that fast is:

League tries to even out your W/L to 50%~ ish, some percent less and some percent above the average.
Even the top players will always have a winrate of less than 55% out of 1000 games.
And how league does its matchmaking: a little hocus pocus and knowing if you;
Have a win streak of XY = lets you queue with people below your skilllevel and harder opponents
Have a lose streak of XY = lets you queue with peolpe with more skilled people and easier opponents

and some other parameters. So yeah, basically, every game is difficult on its own.

A lot of people who play this game do not take criticism well at all. I've been reported by people for telling them that x item on y champion isn't good, and I usually get the (example) "I've been running this build for 3 years I know what I'm doing" kind of reply. I don't blame people for not wanting to help someone out.

Couldn't kill Shen at all at the beginning because he had 2 cloth armors and a chain mail quick. =(
Bottom lost, mid had a rough start. Jungler was good though. Bottom and mid got saved a bunch of times by Naut.
We were behind the entire game. People would focus the Shen and Xin Zhao... Veiger bursts people down, they don't avoid his meteor... Ugh.
Then we aced them after their baron buff ran out at the end and won.
We had no business winning that with how the entire game felt.
Didn't realize a bunch of us kept our deaths pretty low.
