Yeah, pure perfection is giving them a bit too much credit. They played well and the games were overall good but Quantic really blew it on their own, more than once.
When Rattle picked Bane in game 2, I couldn't help but ask myself why he was on the battlefield for almost the entirety of that match. He was a complete detriment to the outcome of that match.
In game 4, there were just too many mistakes to mention from Quantic, and their overall lineup was just a mess. But Rattle also made some pretty questionable plays as well, like diving for the harpy kill.

Yeah, pure perfection shouldn't be the word to describe their performance. KotL and Weaver played great in the last game. The way Weaver was split-pushing was great against the picks Quantic made, it was difficult to stop him. I remember when they even put 4 wards near tier 2 bottom tower and still couldn't stop him. Weaver also forced Quantic not to fight as 5 in the last minutes. And KotL had a big impact with his tp's.Soulclenz wrote:

Stack the creeps in the jungle and occasionally when you see an opportunity to go to a lane incase your teammates are missing or you are about to gank, you can grab a few extra creeps there, also helps. It also varies, depending on what creeps you get. Also it doesn't hurt to ask a supporter to stack some spots for you as well.dNextGen wrote:

It isn't just the carry who has to do well on last hits, but true support players need to tirelessly pull and stack and not steal last hits from you for a huge portion of the early game, you will never find that in solo pub Q's im afraid =(.dNextGen wrote:

I was playing support SD for Yifan from AU who was playing alch in an inhouse -cm.
He hit 1200gpm peak, and ended game with 1100gpm cause he wasted last few minutes. Can confirm good support makes a lot of difference.

Get one of your buds to q with you together and try out a combination that could win the laning phase nicely and to be able to help the other lanes later on , that's usually the best thing to do if you want a duo top or bot. You'd at least have a person trustful to hear you out what to do etc.
When it comes to stacking, there is also the trick that, if you're good with basic micro you could double stack with the help of Helm of the Dominator item, you can control a creep, bring it to a jungle creep spawn, pull them in one spot with the creep in your control and the other spot with your hero and you've 2x stacked, that also works nicely in case you don't seem to have a nice supporter on the team or any at all for that matter. Also, as a recommendation from my own experience when you are in jungle and there isn't a supporter on the team and people are bitching about no wards constantly, if you do have the gold for it, get some wards yourself and place them in the jungle, the fact that 150 g spent on an area to see if they're coming for you, will save you a lot instead of no vision and being paranoid and you most likely will end up getting ganked and losing precious money + exp time.

The best thing about stacking is the moment after minutes of work when you can finally throw on your DK ulti or Batrider Firefly and get all this delicious gold and xp.

Wards are counterintuitive for lane protection this meta because it gives you a false impression of being safe, when really, if the enemy is decent, they'll just smoke up.

GPM always depends.
On lane you can't get high GPM (that is, 700+) unless you stack camps or get them stacked.
If you solo queue and have solo lane, get quelling blade and start stacking creeps and make sure you cut paths with QB so creeps always have free path to the camps. Instead of static farming (keeping creep equilibrium, harassing hero out of lane etc) you sometimes just have to clear the creepwave ASAP and at the same time pull in the creeps so they transition to the neutral camp right as the enemy creepwave is cleared.
This is heavily dire-dependant but it's a general idea of how it should work, for Radiant you can just stack medium camps and pull them in normally after killing enemy creepwave.
If you play an ancient-killer carry, get HotD and start stacking ancients.
Never forget TPs for proper movement. If you play a carry with high killing potential, go kill heroes whenever you see a good pickoff and don't have to invest too much time into it. Best case scenario, catch out a hero who's pushing lane so you can farm creeps right after.
Of course, if you play Mirana you should more actively look for them than Anti-Mage or Spectre, but you still have to think if you'd win more by killing or more by farming.
Sometimes (or rather, most of the times) farming is better than killing or waiting for a teamfight to break out.
Never tp into losing teamfights where you know you won't be able to win it or have a chance of dying if you have to sacrifice farm for it.
The easiest heroes to practice high GPM-ing are Gyro & Drow Ranger.
Drow with 800+ GPM is really easy to do if you get the gist of her. If I have absolute freefarm on lane, I just buy HotD before any other item and start stacking ancients, with lvl 6 you can already farm them due to ulti. She's got massive damage as well so missing creeps is more seldom than other heroes.
tl;dr
The most important thing to get that high GPM running is having a proper rotation, never tp/walk(which is even worse) somewhere where you can't farm or/and kill.
Also, don't be lazy. Try to stack neutrals whenever you can, if you have Ancient-farmer, buy HotD and stack it up.
Quelling blade also proves as very useful as you can stack multiple camps with it
PS : If you can't get your teamm8s to buy wards, buy them yourself. It's better to lose 150 gold than 300+ & farm time.
PPS : If you have russians in your team, get dagon and shadow blade. Try to steal whatever you can and gtfo jungle farm

Also, those who are still struggling with creep equilibirum, try to prioritize denying over last hitting.
If both are last hittable at once though, get the money of course.
Keep in mind though that, when your support is stacking and/or pulling, the equilibrium will eventually land at the enemy tower bit by bit, so don't panic and think you've gone wrong somewhere. If you have the feeling you did your best keeping the equi., it's probably alright.
+ If you're last hitting under the tower, always quickly click on the 1 creep that's being attacked and calculate for yourself if you have to hit it once before last hit or if you can just let tower hit it until you can last it.
The tower deals ~95 damage and as the average carry you should have 55-60 dmg. Meaning that if the creep's got 255 hp, you should probably hit it once to get the last hit. If the creep's got 288 hp, you should just wait for the 3 hits to come from the tower. Keep in mind that sometimes the creep regenerates by ~6 hp at times so just keep the camera on the creep a bit longer to see if he regens. This does not happen too often though, but you never know. It mightve been the 50 gold to buy you boots for your escape.
If you got Faceless Void + Quelling Blade, please slap yourself for every last hit you don't get when freefarming

Keep in mind that sometimes the creep regenerates by ~6 hp at times so just keep the camera on the creep a bit longer to see if he regens. This does not happen too often though, but you never know. It mightve been the 50 gold to buy you boots for your escape.

i did this one with Naix and it work wonders
still stuck at 608 gpm though,clearly naix not the best farmer

With her zoom zoom build (phase boots, drums and yasha) you can really focus on creep killing, and also not leave your team high and dry should a fight break out. Her dagger will let you effortlessly stack camps, escape/chase if heroes are coming for you, and the move speed +tree/cliff walking is great for quickly getting around the jungle and lanes.
I have been practising the living hell out of this build in solo pubs and with my team and I definitely recommend it. Although i am slightly biased since i just love spectre.
