Being able to storyboard the whole background

Hi. Everytime I find a nice background for one of my maps, I have to cut it, because there's a limit on the storyboarding. What I want, is that you can be able to storyboard a 1600x900 background, and not only a 1024x768 one.



Explanation: There's a white 1024x768 outline on the background, to show you where you can storyboard. I want that to change to the full 1600x900 background.

You can already do this (at least I know you can for people who script SBs)

Not always, it's really weird currently. So far I couldn't make all the elements widescreen for some reason, but some moving sprites I could.

It's already possible to do this for all backgrounds and sprites

Source: I tested one of my maps to support widescreen so my SB for ALiCE'S EMOTiON - Mami Mami Zone (t+pazolite Remix) is fully compatible with widescreen resolutions. Don't bother to look at the beatmap, the latest version of my SB isn't submitted with the beatmap so looking at it wouldn't help anyway.

but yeah, if you make a widescreen sb, what will happen for those with normal resolutions? bugs? incomplete sb?
this would be pretty nice to have widescreen storyboards but not sure if possible :(

edit: HOW TO DO THIS?
I know it is possible to add some sprites without the background changing to 1024x768 but I have no idea how this happens

well i tried to do it many times, but it just cuts off for some reason...

quick look what I mean:



As you can see, on the right it just cuts off.

EDIT: at your sb: it cuts off too...

Yes I use to have the same problem before but after extensive testing, I no longer have this problem.

Eh, I guess it's because the osu! version of the .osu is older? I am not sure.
The map I am trying to storyboard is quite ancient though, and currently all sprites and backgrounds (even if the pics are 16:9) get cut to 4:3 lol.

O well, guess I'll have to figure it out. :p

Anyway, the editor should have a check to enable ws edition.
