How if we can setting our mouse / tablet / keyboard type so everyone can see what type of mouse / keyboard / tablet we use by scroll over on it

Having it show up on hover wouldn't be very intuitive, I think something like this would be better;

that's a great idea, but i think it will be more efficient with pop-up :)

TouchFluffyTail's idea was better than a pop-up imo. A lot of people already write it in their userpages anyway, so I guess some might find it useful.

I really like this idea, and I think it would be great if it were implemented. I personally don't mind whether it's in the form of a tool tip pop up or displayed as TouchFluffyTail's idea. (...saying that name makes me feel insecure about myself...)

Of course, both have their advantages, the tool tips make it cleaner, and more subtle, while the.... other idea kinda looks cooler and is more blatantly obvious.
Either way is good though.

Yep, I actually had plans to add this myself, but my implementation is a bit more interesting :). I'll get around to it eventually.

@Kitsunemimi: peppy have been very fond of using tool tips as of lately, so if it were to be implemented, it's most likely going to be a tool tip. Well, I'm not 100% sure, just a conclusion I came by seeing what he has done lately.

(And yes, I hate having to hover my cursor to see more info. I so hate hate hate hate hate hate hate it)

Anyways, thread's title should be changed, there's too many changes that could be done to the profile to "improve" it. For instance, a very big improvement for me in the profile pages it is to have it to show more useful statistics, but that's not the point of this thread.

I'm interested in seeing how this turns out, all the profile improvements over the last month or so have been nice. :)

if this is implemented, i dont know what to write next to the 'mouse' icon in the profile
could it be something like brandless standard ugly mouse
and something like HP Mini built in keyboard

Anyways, it sounds like a nice idea. Granted, I play CtB, so this wouldn't apply to me at all :P (Unless people are really interested that I use my laptop's keyboard to play CtB or something).
