You can save replays after each play by pressing F2 at the result screen. Then go to the folder above to find the .osr.

I love Osu!record but I have a minor complaint: It seems it does not care about my skin.ini, SliderBorder and SliderTrackOverride don't apply when using osu!record.

mhm had some server issues the other day, have restarted the daemon now
Now i am stuck with someone else using the system, but no sign of activity. The promt is this:

My replay after it was uploaded and processed, said that the background was deleted..? Did something on my end do that or..? It also had a copyright notice ;-;

Anyway it's really a nice of you to have created a replay conversion and uploading server it keeps me from having to use fraps and resize the video.
EDIT: Tried again already than another person uploaded a video and after that I tried again a more four or five times but still the same it.
Now uploading to your Youtube account... (this may take a while)Actually I have an youtube account is impossible to upload a video on osu!record without one to begin with, I removed google+ from youtube and will try to upload again and post here if I succeed.

If the above error is NoLinkedYouTubeAccount, you haven't actually signed up for youtube and are just using a plain google account, so you can't upload videos.

Figured out why it wasn't uploading before, seems it doesn't work properly with firefox so I decided to give one more chance but with crap chrome this time and it worked.

From reading through the thread, this is either because the replay file is bad or your system doesn't support the beatmap. Watching the live feed, osu gives a message like "there was an error loading this beatmap" or something. I tried a new replay file just in case and same thing happens. Not complaining or asking for troubleshoot as I believe you have addressed this problem before and there was nothing to be done.
Edit: I tried a replay of a different song and had the same thing happen. Both songs loaded up on the live feed but never made it to the actual replay. The second song even showed the results screen that displays before the replay is started. But if it happened on both my replays, there must be something wrong on my end.

I Found one problem about Loading Skin File.
I'm chaged osr File but it's failed.
But i removed Skin File, and recording success?!

The only problems I have with this are that you use the OLD Osu! skin, at least update it to the latest default one. Maybe you could even do custom skins, but other than that great job on this, works great for me.

I still think it would be cool if beatmaps let you see the highscore replay in youtube-format on the webpage. I am willing to see if i can fix a dedicated server to be on #announce and record new highscores to youtube-videos.

Fixed a number of issues due to a recent system update, also hopefully reduced the number of beatmaps that get stuck at main menu

~15 maps that were never included in packs have been added, and ~120 maps have been updated

Thought it would be cool to try this. Just waiting on the video to upload to my account. It's a really cool tool and im glad it exists since for some reason fraps lags my osu! a bunch and makes it way to difficult to play

imo if you can add a queue system, this will be better. ik it's hard though

Seems the API endpoint I was using changed slightly, so all beatmaps ranked since the 11th of this month were not downloaded. This has been resolved, but it will take a few hours due to download limits etc.PwnageInc wrote:

Any beatmaps that consistently don't record without glitches are probably using some obscurity and/or extremely heavy storyboarding. Keep in mind that if osu! had minimum system requirements published (if it does i'm not aware), my server would be at the borderline, and that's if it were running Windows.
Great work with the server, but I have an idea, why don't you put a button to upload the beatmap in case it's missing? it could be useful instead of waiting months for the beatmap.

Why don't you make it check server load upon clicking "Upload Replay", and then, if it's available for someone to make a video, have the browser upload the file(s) and start recording (if possible, have that client get a reserved slot for 20 seconds or so, this way it'll be more friendly to people with low bandwidth who want replays recorded with a certain skin).

Absolutely beautiful work! It didn't take much time to record replay or upload it to YouTube, most of my time actually went for waiting before I was able to get .OSR uploaded but I guess it's quite understandable because it can be used by only one person at a time (but perhaps some kind of queue system might help with that?). If only it just would let me decide which skin I'd like to use for record then I'd be more than happy. But even now this is 2nd best osu! related thing I found out after I started playing osu! (the best being time when I learned how many great beatmaps I'm able to download).
I definitely hope you will keep up good work with this!

I'll have to say this is pretty mind blowing.
A few things I personally want to clarify, and note down:
-The recording settings? It looks like you're attempting to lock 60fps? Or is it lower?
-Compression settings? They look pretty decent, wouldn't mind seeing what and how you're doing it.

The offset is perfect.
It's effortless, just upload .osr and walk away.

^The recording settings are probably set to that since he's recording from a dedi box running Arch linux, and osu doesn't work the best with non-windows-y operating systems.
He's using ffmpeg witha custom command line, ffmpeg is arguably the best encoder there is.
It's running on a server, and 95% servers don't have dedicated GPUs, that might be the cause

People touched the .osk subject and it made me remember: At what resolution does osu!record run the game?
@2x skins without "normal" elements break if the resolution is <800px high, and uploading a full .osk would take ages (wasting bandwidth and possibly making you lose your chance)

Fixed, looks like osu!.db got corrupt somehow

I can see in a preview that it launches, plays the music, it goes to Play->Solo, and then it goes black D:

Error: osu! failed to start after waiting 25 seconds. Over 9000 possible reasons for this, best bet is to
just try again.

I will open source it when I get a chance to rewrite it. There's a few things that could become security holes with more knowledge of the workings (scary amount of sudo involved), and the code is currently at the standard of babby's first PHPMaxorq wrote:

I get many errors and have had no success after 30 mins. It also takes so long to get under 3.3
Same here. My video is just the 'processing maps' screen. For some reason I see other people uploading maps sucessfully (under "most recently uploaded map"), but all of mine are failing.
