I think the MAG public beta starts on the 12th. Doesn't seem right for PS3 since that's a Monday, but maybe.
If you're trying to get the Platinum, it totally is. It took me a while to get that. Damn time trials and speed runs, I swear.Zaron wrote:

Hey now, that's a good game.Zaron wrote:

Oh, for sure. Can't wait to get that one. I'm a little disappointed with the demo they put up on Thursday. Who the hell wanted a damn Clank demo? Jeez. There's supposed to be a Ratchet demo, too, but by then I'll HAVE THE GAME, so whoopty doo.Zaron wrote:

It's not so much a dual-analog fetish as me having a laptop on a bed and thus a thumb pad for a mouse. Tablets aren't all that FPS friendly, though I guess with half a brain I could just use it as a moue pad or, like... dig out the mouse that came with it. I tend to prefer console because on the computer I have this itching desire to do this horrible thing called "being productive." Which, you know, I'm totally doing. Right now. I didn't like Morrowind or Oblivion but I loved FO3. Though, I'd recommend getting it for the PC, since it's an FPS (unless you have a Dual-Analog fetish or something) plus mods add more to the game than a console version would ever allow, expansion packs or not.
Oh, hell, I'm just trying to beat the game. X___x Stuck in chapter 6, and have been in the same stupid room for a while. Can't even figure out what the game wants me to do, and too lazy to YouTube it. Usually I figure it out on my own sooner or later, but moments like this and the subway train crapshoot really mar the experience for me.Seibei wrote:

Never said it wasn't. Why you think I'm plastering my ID all over to expand my online list? XD NEED MOAR SACKBOYZ! Moar sackboys = moar shinies = moar crap for me to pretend I'll finish a second level with. It's fun times all around!Seibei wrote:

"I never said that you said it was bad." What I meant was that you don't have to defend your reasoning for owning it or anything cause it's a good game.Zaron wrote:

But, yeah, I totally love LBP.
Yeah, that's why shotguns are my secondary weapons. Sometimes Combat Rifles. I'm guessing you chose Mordecai, too. I have no regrets with him. He's awesome. If people spot me, that's their mistake. I hate those damn Psychos though. If they reach you, your shield and 97% of your health is gone, basically. I've made it to Dahl Headland and they threw in a bunch of vehicular combat that I don't care for. I wonder how this game is in co-op...adam2046 wrote:
Borderlands is nice but fighting a boss in an enclosed space with a sniper rifle is no fun...
Also everyone can see me no matter where I am it seems so I probably should have chosen the siren.
But we love typing them so!lukewarmholiday wrote:

That's actually one element of being fan service-y. Not taking risks, sticking to the formula because that's what the fans like. The other has something to do with...well, damn it, I forget. It had something to do with the storyline of the game, I think. But I forget now. It's the last installment, right?Seibei4211 wrote:
I don't see this game as being fan service-y. It's just doing what it always does.

I got it on PC, I think I needed help on three pieces, when I checked the walk thru there was another type of collectables I never noticed. I was in disbelief.awp wrote:
Braid is a very interesting game. Played it at my brother's house for an hour or two. If for nothing else (and that is a load of crap, there's lots of else) the final level is so worth it. Some of the puzzles are really tough to figure out though. I didn't get through all of them.
I remember Nano Breaker, but I don't remember if I beat it or not. I gonna swerve away from PS3 Bayonetta, hope my 360 still works. I heard awful things about the PS3 port.Seibei4211 wrote:
Anyone remember Nano Breaker? The game where every enemy shot out fucking gallons of blood with every hit? Oh wait, except it's not blood. It's some other whatever shit that's just red. That game always made me sick when I looked at it too long. I don't think they've made a game bloodier than that one yet.
So aside from awp, who's getting Bayonetta? Anyone interested in Dark Void either? That one looks pretty fun, too. Fuckin' jetpaaaaaacks.
So wait, you got rid of the PS2 after getting a PS3? I still own mine, and I love it. Otherwise, the PS3 Slim is better by far. In the end I'm still not getting it since I already have a PS3 to begin with. Just not that many games, unless people enjoy playing Rock Band 2.rust45 wrote:
Also, what do you guys think of the PS3 Slim? I don't like it cause it has twice the amount gigs as my PS3 and is cheaper. I don't like how they discontinued the old models either, good thing I got my PS3 before the slim, cause that'd be the only way I could play PS2 games.
Why would I get rid of a PS2 if I had one, without being able to use your memory cards I would keep a PS2 if I had one, I still think it's kinda bullshit to get rid of the backwards compatibility. Also, this is just a question about the Slim, but does it even read DVD's, or just blu-ray?(You know, for DVD movies) If it's the former, that's more bullshit for lack of backwards compatibility.RL Link wrote:

A lot of people get rid of their PS2 after getting a PS3, then get frustrated that the PS3 they own doesn't have backwards capability. Shoulda kept the PS2 to begin with. Either way, I watch most of my movies on the computer. =p Of course I do mean DVDs. If the slim doesn't have the backwards capabilities you want, then don't get it. If it's unimportant, go ahead and get it. Otherwise it's not that big of a deal since there are other ways to play them PS2 games/watch them DVDs.rust45 wrote:
