These are my tablet's settings. 0.95 x 0.6 = 0.57 sq inches. My skill hasn't reach yet the limits of the tablet and it still feels really responsive and smooth. And it's just a Trust Mini Tablet, which costs around 20€, not an expensive Wacom tablet.RBRat3 wrote:
FYI lpi has 0 influence on osu! unless your active area is something thats 0.5sq inch which the driver wont let you do nor I don't think anyone here has that kind of motor control.
Of course, I'm still far from being a top Osu! player (actually I consider myself a newbie), but since I've bought my tablet 2 months ago (when I've hit a brick wall playing with a mouse around rank #12000) I'm using these settings and I'm now at rank ~#2000 and the tablet still keeps up with my speed, while I'm still improving day by day in a noticeable pace.
Anyway, I don't know if a Wacom tablet makes a difference at top ranks, but until now I haven't felt the need for a better tablet. And I still can increase my active area if I experience any problems with the tablet's accuracy. So, my opinion thus far is that lpi doesn't matter for Osu!, even while using a small active area.
Just my 2c.
