The ending was the best
if they dubbed it into Japanese half the words would have been in English anywayBlazevoir wrote:
So I recently found a video involving the JP dub's Winter Wrap Up episode... They didn't dub the song. I guess it was probably too hard for them to rearrange it or something. Oh well...
Plus it'd be pretty expensive to dub all of those songs and especially annoying if the Japanese cast aren't trained vocalists which would necessitate using session musicians that sound enough like them.awp wrote:

Couldn't they still have the English subs below the Japanese ones be the original lyrics?
I think all of the VAs for the mane 6 have done vocals before anyway for songs from the other anime they've done. So it's not like it would have been that hard to get them to sing it.Blazevoir wrote:

I doubt it. It didn't use any prebaked assets/engines at all; I got to have complete control over the entire system (skilltrees, how fleeing battle works, how dodging works, how each character role was played etc)Blazevoir wrote:
Just as long as it's not most/all of the RPG Maker MLP:FiM fangames out there... lol.

if a team of dedicated artists/scenario programmers (mappers)/sound guys wanted to climb on board I'd consider turning back to it once I published the games I'm currently working onJarby wrote:
It's sad that you're not continuing this project as it looks so promising.
