Your getting close to the end of the song, you've been trying to complete this song for awhile now. The you stumble a bit and lose almost all your health. You barely recover just in time for the last notes though, but the notes have slowed down! Hitting the notes perfectly isn't enough, your hands start shaking as you try desperately to finish.
You did it, you hit the last few notes still have a little bit of health to spare, but a spinner appears on the screen, you spin and spin, hopelessly as you watch your health dwindle. Confusion, followed by disbelief and rage... you lost, barely.
That's the story of my loss earlier today. It was followed by a victory that felt easier than normal, but that loss made me want to throw my laptop at someone.
