Will it ever be possible to use .GIF images??? [duplicate]

I would like to see .GIF images being implimented into the game and online profiles
It would be good if that we could have moving (GIF) images on our profile and in game, because it looks better and I know of many that want to use a .GIF image but can't.
Could it be possible for this to happen???

.gif avatars would be really distracting and I think they look worse when they are cropped to such little sizes as used by osu!

No support for that.

Note: Also, it is possible to use animated avatars in the forums, with animated PNGs.
