Made another account to play with some newbies I know without the matchmaking fucking it up.
It didn't matter how hard I tried... It was lost as soon as Yi gave first blood before minions spawned.
What was even worse is how it was practically a 3v5 and we lost.
Why the fuck did this Ryze build a Bloodthirster?

I played with a friend recently that wanted to start (I got new lvl 1 account). And he was stacking bloodthirsters and a blade of the ruined king on his fiddlesticks. Since he thought extra life regen would be OP on fiddle. Other guy played ryze and was getting 2 phantom dancers and a bloodthirster. Also they both had smite for huge damage at enemies, he even asked why he failed so much to hit enemies with the summoner.
But keep in mind, if you never played the game and don't know that there are AP and AD champions etc, you can't expect them to play like that. After the game I explained him how it worked though
Sounds like something i did the very first game i played. I played dota prior to league so I assumed this game would be similar with the whole skill scaling thing. Skills don't scale in dota unlike league. Hence why supports in dota are actually GOOD throughout the entire game.
Even though I just started, I "own" a level 30 account with 68 champions, and it only took me 4-5 games to understand the unique mechanics, unlike dota which took me up to a year. I can see why this is the most casual of the casual games.
That being said, the game itself is quite fun apart from the community.

afaik revive gives a movement speed bonus for a few secs, even more whooosh and dmg

So, my Arranged team and I did Hecarim + Jayce + Orianna
I had Homeguard BoM and 4.5% MS from Runes
I think I reached 1.3k MS when I used 3rd and Jayce's Accel Gate w/ Orianna's bonus MS

I really don't know exactly how much speed I reached, I just know that I went from base to inhib on 0,1 sec and destroyed the other team with 700 or 800 damage xD

If you think kat is bad now you probably would have killed yourself about 6 months ago when she was the most popular mid. In solo queue my mid always fed her and she would single handily carry the game. I had to start banning her or play stuff like warwick or cho mid so she wouldn't snowball. I'd take the whole Lux/ori mid over kat/eve anyday mostly because solo queue orianna's are so bad lol.
I actually saw someone feeding this Ori yesterday and it was the worst thing I've ever seen in my entire life. I sometimes have to play mid in order to prevent my team from feeding Kat but in the last game I played, it got so bad because a Jax from top lane decided he wanted to go mid and we got ganked because no one wanted to call mias in their lane.

Well sure calling mia's would be nice, a bit of map awareness or wards could help it out.
Might be a "bit" of your teammates for not following or warding their river/jungle entry to know you will get ganked.

Someone that tried Aatrox on PBE could explain me his passive? Its yorick-like? or Zac-like? You revive with the amount of blood you got for a period of time, or you just revive freely?

On Evelynn I take QEW first three levels, then max R>E>W>Q. I don't build Liandry's unless health is stacked, and even then I might consider Blade of the Ruined King before Liandry's.
I think the 120% Attack Speed bonus from Level 5 E is better than 120 Damage from Level 5 Q. It really helps you stick, and by maxing W next you can get in and get out much easier. Q has such a short cooldown that you can keep spamming it without interrupting movement to apply the burn, since that's all you really need it for.
I'm still working on a set of runes and masteries that will make this Evelynn build the best though.

Tried ARAM a few days ago and just happened to get one of my favourite champions - in addition to Ziggs and Nunu so teamfights were funny to stack our ultimate spells with. Got an enemy turret down, but then they pushed us and killed both our Nexus turrets. We spawned, aced them, then killed four of them when they spawned and won. Was a pretty nice comeback-win.
Played three more today and went 2-1, once of which I ended up getting Zilean (who I hate) and went 4-0-32.

You still have a hidden elo in normals so win loss ratio still matters. I have a friend who is 150 losses over wins and the skill level in those games is literally bronze 5. I can play something like jungle Veigar and still carry the game. If you have under 1000 games and have about a 45% win rate you are still in a good MMR bracket.
Ranked is too stressful for some people. The only reason I'm still playing ranked atm is because elo decay affects silver players this season for some stupid reason.
