When I play taiko, catch the beat, or osu!mania, my hands are nowhere near my mouse. So what I'm proposing is that by hitting the "Tab" button on our keyboards it would switch the active tab in chat to the next available one to the right. Again, probably not high priority, but I think it's the small things that make a difference.
EDIT: Additionally I now know that you can use alt + 1-0 to access different tabs. My thoughts on this is that:
a) there are no numbers on the tabs making it easy to figure out which number to push to get to the desired tab and
b) if you have more than 10 tabs open there is no way of accessing them by keyboard at all.
therefore i have a different proposal that might solve both problems.
1) add a number 1 - 0 on the open tabs in a specific row. this will make pressing alt + 1-0 much easier to locate the desired tab.
2) by hitting the tab button, have the rows of tabs flip positions making a new row of 1- 0 tabs.
This would essentially make 2 rows of 10 tabs (20 total) be accessible by keyboard although it seems like a lot more work to press tab then alt + 1-0 rather than just clicking on it. That's why I feel my first suggestion could still be an option.
Good idea? or no?
let me know what you think
