[Easy]

  • *The slider velocity you used for this difficulty is a bit much. Like you said in the map description this is a relaxing slow song, so you should have used a slow SV as well. SV of 1,0 or 0,90 would have worked. I guess you won't change it now.. but please have it in mind for your next beatmaps. :)

    *This difficulty is also a bit too difficult, specially at the beginning of the song so this mod will be focused on helping you to make this difficulty easier.
  1. 00:12:964 (2) - Avoid placing notes at red ticks. Remove it, these kind of rhythms are for normal diffs. :p
  2. 00:16:214 (1) - Perhaps add a hitfinish due to the change of melody?
  3. 00:43:714 (3) - Not really necessary, I know, but you can move this note where 00:41:214 (2) was.
  4. 00:48:214 (1) - Since this is a Easy diff, it is always good to leave a short break after spinning so beginners can recover their hand. To do this try removing this note. I know it is placed to avoid ignoring that white big tick, but it kinda gets overlapped with spinner elements, making it probably hard for beginners to see the approach circle.. I don't know, it's up to you!:
  5. 00:50:964 (2) - Sliders at red ticks ;-; please remove this slider and place a note at 00:51:214 instead. Leave that kind of rhythm for your Normal diff.
  6. 00:54:714 (2) - ^ Here my suggestion is replacing this slider with a circle.
  7. 01:03:464 (1,2) - Placing a slider at a red tick after a spinner isn't friendly for beginners. They'll probably rush clicking the slider.. you used some spinners before like 00:44:214 and you skipped the clap-sound with it, so my suggestion is extending this spinner at 01:03:464, make it end at 01:03:714 to make it more easier for beginners.
  8. 01:19:464 (1) - ^ Same.
  9. 01:30:714 (2) - This is the last slider of this kind i'll point out. Make sure to get rid of these! they're too much for a Easy diff.

    I'll stop here. Please get rid of the rest of hard patterns such as the one mentioned ^ and the others like 02:26:214 (1,2,1). It's too much for an easy. Easy diffs should have long sliders, simple 1/1 rhythm. You know~
[Hard]

  • *This difficulty has too many unnecessary jumps such as 00:26:464 (2,3,4,1,2) etc. Once again, it's a relaxing song so you shouldn't do jumps like this if the song doesn't fit with them imo.
    *00:24:714 (2) - Why did you changed the spacing for this kind of sliders? and here you used less spacing for these sliders 02:32:714 (2). And here at 02:36:714 (2) you change again, and this one looks like if it were a 1/1 simple rhythm, players wont expect this and will be probably confused due to this and also due to your incosistent spacing.
    *02:37:589 (4) - Sliders at blue tick like these don't play good, these feel bad to click, you should place circles at blue ticks and preferably not sliders. I know you're following the vocals, but it doesn't feel good to play. :<
    *02:40:714 (2,3) - This jump isn't necessary nor plays good so consider removing jumps like this one.
    *02:41:464 (4) - Here instead of this, you should tried to replace it with cirlces and add another circle at 02:41:714. Much better imo.

    These are *generally* the most important issues of this difficulty. Too many unnecesary jumps for a Hard diff and also for a slow and calm song, inconsistent spacings, sliders at blue/red, forced jumps.. this difficulty needs more work. It could have been more flowy. Please try to improve your diff having in mind what I wrote above ^ This is general so I don't repeat the same stuff too many times.

Normal is the best diff. Flows good, looks good.. but Easy is a bit too hard and [Hard] needs improvements. It should be a bit more easier without so many jumps imo. Now it kinda feels like an Insane diff.. I hope this helps you to improve [Hard]! You need more mods! that's all. :P

00:12:214 (1,2,3) - Well yeah, as Kei suggested mapping on 1/2 feels too much especially the Song is really calm and I mean, this is an Easy. If you really want to keep the Hitsounds here just make that: http://puu.sh/2xK9V (Of course adjusting the Hitsounds and this and that is your thing. :p)

  • Everything's fine.
Easy
  1. 00:15:464 (1) - The normal-hitnormal sounds weird on this slider's end - it would be better to keep the soft hitsound.
  2. 00:28:214 (1) - 00:44:214 (1) - 01:16:214 (1) - 01:32:214 (1) - Ends too close to the beat after. It would be better to make it end sooner.
  3. 00:55:214 (3) - This slider breaks the comboing. The new combo should be on the big white tick, but that's where the slider ends, making it impossible to place a new combo here. Remove the repeat and add a circle on the big white tick, with a new combo. Remember to remove the new combo on 00:56:714 (1) - if you do that. Also, if I may, this slider looks bad because of the self-overlap at the end.
  4. 00:57:714 (2) - Same problem. This time, replace it with circle+slider, with a new combo on the slider.
  5. 01:04:214 (1) - 01:52:214 (1) - This feels very unnecessary. The spinner before it shares the same problem as the spinners I've pointed out before and I don't think a note here adds anything, honestly. My suggestion is to remove the note and drag the break where it was.
  6. 01:27:714 (3) - 01:39:714 (1) - 01:45:714 (2) - 02:11:714 (1) - 02:17:714 (2) - Breaks the comboing again. You'll have to replace it with two circles, though.
  7. 01:37:714 (1) - 02:15:714 (3) - Breaks the comboing again. Replace it with circle+slider, with a new combo on the slider.
  8. 02:06:214 (1) - This spinner ends too close to the following note, and breaks the comboing. Unfortunately, you can't fix this one without keeping one of these two problems - my suggestion would be to shorten it to make it land one white tick before and add a circle where it was with a new combo.

  1. AR5 feels a bit fast for this - I'd suggest to use AR4 instead.
  2. This comboing is mostly inconsistent, for the same reasons as in Easy - sliders.
  3. 00:15:464 (1) - Same comment as in Easy - the normal-hitnormal sounds weird here. This applies to all other similar patterns in the song.
  4. 00:47:964 (3) - 01:03:964 (3) - 01:19:964 (3) - 01:51:964 (3) - This is a no-go for me in a Normal. 1/4 is very confusing, even as kick sliders. I know why you put it here, but I find it unfitting and confusing for the difficulty.
  5. 02:24:214 (1) - Starting here, the rhythms become substantially harder, which gives the difficulty a wall-like difficulty curve, which is unfitting. Try to make these rhythms simpler to stay consistent with the rest of the diff.

  4. 01:00:214 (1) - Confusing. The song doesn't have any note here that stands out, and it's stacked under the previous one - why not start the spinner here ?

  1. 00:15:464 (1) - The normal-hitnormal sounds weird on this slider's end - it would be better to keep the soft hitsound. sorry as you can see that I intended to make it a normal sound because I love the slight difference in between.
  2. 00:28:214 (1) - 00:44:214 (1) - 01:16:214 (1) - 01:32:214 (1) - Ends too close to the beat after. It would be better to make it end sooner. hmm I think a 1/1-beat gap is somehow enough? Considering the note after the spinner is quite close to the center
  3. 00:55:214 (3) - This slider breaks the comboing. The new combo should be on the big white tick, but that's where the slider ends, making it impossible to place a new combo here. Remove the repeat and add a circle on the big white tick, with a new combo. Remember to remove the new combo on 00:56:714 (1) - if you do that. Also, if I may, this slider looks bad because of the self-overlap at the end. I didn't split it up but I fixed the self-overlapping issue
  4. 00:57:714 (2) - Same problem. This time, replace it with circle+slider, with a new combo on the slider. sorry to hold different opinions but I hink to absolutely always start a new combo at a big white tick is really NOT that neccessary even this is a Easy diff. also to the below.
  5. 01:04:214 (1) - 01:52:214 (1) - This feels very unnecessary. The spinner before it shares the same problem as the spinners I've pointed out before and I don't think a note here adds anything, honestly. My suggestion is to remove the note and drag the break where it was. I knew that a single note here doesn't mean much but in my opinion it makes sense because the ending sound of the spinner is a default clap and I really don't think a clap indicates an end of a part. So I put the note with bass sound at this position to symbolize an end,
  6. 01:27:714 (3) - 01:39:714 (1) - 01:45:714 (2) - 02:11:714 (1) - 02:17:714 (2) - Breaks the comboing again. You'll have to replace it with two circles, though.
  7. 01:37:714 (1) - 02:15:714 (3) - Breaks the comboing again. Replace it with circle+slider, with a new combo on the slider.
  8. 02:06:214 (1) - This spinner ends too close to the following note, and breaks the comboing. Unfortunately, you can't fix this one without keeping one of these two problems - my suggestion would be to shorten it to make it land one white tick before and add a circle where it was with a new combo. I don't think it would be really hard even for beginners to play. the BPM is low thus a 1/1-beat time is quite enough for reaction Imo, also, the note after the spinner is quite centralized.

  1. AR5 feels a bit fast for this - I'd suggest to use AR4 instead. ok
  2. This comboing is mostly inconsistent, for the same reasons as in Easy - sliders.
  3. 00:15:464 (1) - Same comment as in Easy - the normal-hitnormal sounds weird here. This applies to all other similar patterns in the song. sorry but I love them
  4. 00:47:964 (3) - 01:03:964 (3) - 01:19:964 (3) - 01:51:964 (3) - This is a no-go for me in a Normal. 1/4 is very confusing, even as kick sliders. I know why you put it here, but I find it unfitting and confusing for the difficulty. a Normal diff in a mapset with Easy is a stepping stone for beginners to reach Hard diffs. I think they should learn to handle easy short sliders like these. They may break combo at these places for once but will deal them well next time as I suppose.
  5. 02:24:214 (1) - Starting here, the rhythms become substantially harder, which gives the difficulty a wall-like difficulty curve, which is unfitting. Try to make these rhythms simpler to stay consistent with the rest of the diff. I knew that it was obviouly harder and how to say, I intended to do so when mapping. It's because I already have a Easy diff in the mapset in which I've given up the particular rhythm at the last part. And now it comes to Normal, I think players should take a step up here. While remembering to make Easy and Normal diffs simple, I always keep in mind that beginners,as who they are, also need challenges on the other hand.

And it is because the BPM is low that the time gap between notes are longer comparing with songs with higher BPM, and players will have more time to move their cursor to reach for the notes.

The music becomse softer and softer so I placed the 4 notes with small distance in between and then the strong beats with claps make me wanna set jumps like what it is.

• 00:02:214 (1) - I think a lot of combo spam at the beginning, maybe you can change your comboing placing it every 2 downbeats (Big White Ticks in the timeline). If you follow that, remove this New Combo please
• 00:06:214 (1) - Same here, you should remove this New Combo avoiding that kind of spam
• 00:20:214 (1) - The high pitch is placed on 00:20:964 I think, so in my opinion the slider end should be placed over this time. So, reduce the slider length of 1/2, give it a try at least
• 00:24:214 (1) - For the same reason as above, I think you should reduce the Slider length by 1/2 because it follow the instrumental properly, after that add a Note in 00:26:214
• 00:28:214 (1,1) - I found the note after the spinner really close (in the timeline), I think new player will miss that. In addition, this note is not really ncecessary for this diff, because the vocals start at 00:32:714. So, would be better for new players if you delete the note after the spinner (1)

• 02:25:464 (4) - What?? This 1/4 slider doesn't follow anything in the music, really. Try listening the music in 25% playback, sounds much better if you add a single note in 02:25:464 instead
• 02:28:589 (2) - Same goes to this slider, it is bad snapped in the timeline. This slider should start in 02:28:630 (using 1/6 beat snap divisor), but this is a bit complicated to an average player. So, I suggest you to replace that with a single note in 02:28:714
• 02:33:464 (4) - Well, in this case sounds a bit fine the 1/4, but I think that follow better the music a 1/2 Slider :|
• 02:36:589 (1) - (^)

- In general looks good, but I didn't like the way that you increased the difficult of the map in the last part of the map, it doesn't feel accurate and it feels pretty hard for a Normal diff. due to the constant 1/4 ticks usage. In my personal opinion, you should make the last part of the map more adapted with the whole of the difficulty.

[Hard:]

Settings:
--> I agree with Shiro in reducing the Approach Rate by 1 tick du to the slow BPM, it looks like you forget to do that (AR-1)
--> For a better Spread, increase the HP Drain Rate by 1 Tick (HP+1)

• 00:37:214 (5) - This Slider looks weird, you can maybe do something like this:

- Here, I have exactly the same problem that I had with your other map. You added a lot of jumps in a music that doesn't deserve that. In addition, you said: ''This song will not have an Insane diff for it's really soft and slow'', so why did you add a lot of jumps in the Hard?? If the song is soft and slow as you said, the diff. should be consistent with the music (i think), a lot of jumps are unnecesary here. An example, these jumps at the start of the map: 00:00:214 (1,2,3,4) - The only section that deserve jumps here and there is the last part (since 02:24:214 to 02:54:964) but the rest should be simplier. Try to check the whole of the map by yourself(as I said you in the other map) and try removing that exaggerated jumps, that doesn't fit with the song. Well, the rhythm is good, so the highest problem in the map are those jumps, so would be better if you fix most of them.

Well, That's all from me.
In my opinion, this map needs some more work and mods. But don't give up please, the song is really fun to listen :)

So, would be better for new players if you delete the note after the spinner (1) I never really mapped to vocal in this Easy diff. I only followed the really basic beats. And thus I've got no reason to skip a downbeat like that. Also, a gap of 1 beat in a 120-BPM-song between a spinner and the note afterwards is enough. I don't know how's other beginners pulling through the spinners, but I know that I play with mouse and when I was a biginner, I couldn't spin small circle just around the center, instead I spin big circle through the wholes screen. Yeah I often miss notes after spinners at that time because I even can't find my cursor after I spin, but I never cpmplained about that. I knew it was because I'm not skillful and I should practice. You know that, even beginners need challenges, if without, then how could they get improved ?

I know what you mean but I actually never followed the melody in the background until the last part. You should understand what I'm mapping to when you noticed my custom hitsound. So I don't feel like a change here, because in the way as you suggest, the note (3) would land on neither a kick nor a snare.

If you did think the rhythm of my Hard diff is good then why would you ever bug me with the rhythm in this diff, as they are exactly the same as I suppose. I still want to point out that this is not the easiest diff in the mapset. And also I insist that even beginners need challenges. I accpet that if there would be some newbie players shouting fuck! when he broke his combo at these points, but what I expect more is that there would also be some others who would say wow this is fucking great! when playing through this.

• 02:33:464 (4) - Well, in this case sounds a bit fine the 1/4, but I think that follow better the music a 1/2 Slider :|

- In general looks good, but I didn't like the way that you increased the difficult of the map in the last part of the map, it doesn't feel accurate and it feels pretty hard for a Normal diff. due to the constant 1/4 ticks usage. In my personal opinion, you should make the last part of the map more adapted with the whole of the difficulty. I insist my rhythm pattern for the last part. Don't ever think in your way that I map this diff aiming to make it hard. I never did this, I just followed the things I think it's in the music and brought some variety to map and to the players. Even assuming I intended to make it hard at the last part, a diff with a bit more challenge in the last part is really weird and mad ? No, I think it's wide accepted.

- Here, I have exactly the same problem that I had with your other map. You added a lot of jumps in a music that doesn't deserve that. In addition, you said: ''This song will not have an Insane diff for it's really soft and slow'', so why did you add a lot of jumps in the Hard?? If the song is soft and slow as you said, the diff. should be consistent with the music (i think), a lot of jumps are unnecesary here. An example, these jumps at the start of the map: 00:00:214 (1,2,3,4) - The only section that deserve jumps here and there is the last part (since 02:24:214 to 02:54:964) but the rest should be simplier. Try to check the whole of the map by yourself(as I said you in the other map) and try removing that exaggerated jumps, that doesn't fit with the song. Well, the rhythm is good, so the highest problem in the map are those jumps, so would be better if you fix most of them.
I have to say sorry for my got damned creator's words. Oh tbh I really hate maps full of symmetrical patterns and flow round and round and round and ... they make me fall asleep when playing. And for my diff spread, I made an ordinary Easy (maybe a little difficult Easy) and then also made my Normal a bit harder than average, so I don't think it's unacceptable that I make my Hard also harder than the average to a certain extent. What I wanna say is that the Had in a spread with ENH, like this mapset, is not the same as the Hard diff in a spread with NHI. I think the former one should be harder, After all, it's the hardest diff, while the other one is only filling the gap. BUT ANYWAY, I did shortened many jumps in the map. I think they are mostly well-shaped such as polygon and blanckets and I hope they're easier now while still keeping them with a good look. And that's all I would fix for now, and what I would do just right after posting this is to chaneg my creator's words omg =.=

00:47:464 (1,3) - This looks really weird and messy when playing since (1) doesn't stack on (4), but (3) does and it just makes the beats look random. Why not make an artificial stack on (4)? Put (1,3) on 4, then move (1) 1 grid down and right, and (3) 2 grids down and right. Image. Alternatively, move it so (1) doesn't overlap (4) in the first place.
