There should be an Online Scoreboard for some Pending Maps.
You may think I'm crazy, but hear my suggestion first before you start off with an unrelated post.
Most mapper nowadays map random insanities for people to be amazed. Sometimes, there are maps that are highly insane enough that it had already crossed over the ranking rules which made it Unrankable. But come to think of it, this maps are fun but it doesn't just really fit the ranking standards. Therefore, there must be an Online Scoreboard for this map, yes it's UNRANKABLE, and so therefore, the scores provided will not affect any of the user's play info.

So what's the difference of this thing from the Approved Maps?

Approved Maps will record your score while my proposal won't. Approved Maps will affect your Accuracy, Play Count, Overall Score, etc. but my proposal won't. I wouldn't suggest the map added on your Top Rank bar if ever you get the first Rank.
If you still can't understand what I want to tell you guys:
  • [list:ba76a]Pending Maps must have an Online Scoreboard..
..only if a MAT or BAT clicks a button that will allow the map to record the scores gained by the players...but the Scores will never be recorded at any of the User's Play Infos unless the map gets Ranked.(more will be added if I can gather more ideas from it.
I guess that explains some of it, I have seem to need more support from other players. What do you guys think?

approved maps?
I mean if these "maps" you talking from are cool enough they may get approved.
The biggest problem for many people is that they love gimmick maps (just for example) which are unrankeable.
I mean if we talk about what is really unrankeable and what's not we could get those maps approved.
But i see little chance for it.
Sorry

And when the mapper updates the map alls scores are gone...

No, this is just unnecessary.

Something similiar was already proposed as a "3rd category" different from Ranking and Approval.
It was also supported by a fair amount of people, me included.

This depends. Maps like NTR's JB can be one of a good example of an valid online scoreboard

Unless there's some kind of list of the maps given scoreboards under an idea like this, it's useless, as nobody will even be aware of the maps. So this would basically end up being the third category proposal, yes, which I wholeheartedly support.

There's no lack of support for a thing like this, either. It's convincing the folks in charge to allow it that'll be the challenge here. Good luck with that. :P

^This. Making a 3rd category made out of maps which are good enough to be played but still unrankable would rock, but doubt it'll ever happen though.
