They aren't costumes for dispensers, they are costumes OF dispensers. Valve actually added the functionality of instantly disguising as a dispenser when crouched a while ago.Rukario wrote:

They added this back in October - you can get the effect by enabling cheats and typing addcond 49 into the console.

Well we don't know exactly how it will work yet; if you keep the dispenser disguise when firing your weapon then you could gun down engineers without having to worry about their sentry.Brian OA wrote:

I'd shoot a walking dispenser any day.
Just watch, in the same update they'll add a mobile dispenser. It will be glorious.
