No yanagi in tags? Seem odd that you have nagi in tags, but not this.
[Easy]
00:12:103 (1) - Whistle sound good with the hi hat here for me.
00:52:794 (1) - Consider finish at begin, miss this the first time I look through, but read 01:03:644 for reason and you did finish here for similar rhythm in next section.
01:02:288 (4) - The sound at begin here sound like the normal-whistle so consider whistle at begin here.
01:03:644 (1) - Would like finish at begin here, the part before became calmer and then it become intense again, I think the finish represent the increase in intensity here well.
01:14:495 (1) - Consider whistle at end instead of clap to distinguish this slider from the other sliders here? (cymbal at end compare to no cymbal on the other similar sliders)
01:18:564 (2) - For me, the sound in music that sound best with custom clap is the snare drum on the repeat of this slider.
*01:22:634 (1) - Following the vocal for me seem much better so extend it so that it ends at 01:23:990 instead. Feel like I follow the music more and much simpler rhythm (1/1 to next note).
01:24:668 (2) - Since I suggest before to use whistle to follow cymbal, whistle at end? If not, please do a finish. Nice to end this section with a strong hitsound I think.
01:56:543 (3) - Whistle at begin and repeat? Also put repeats at begin and end for this 00:32:449 (2) - if you do this. Don't hear the whistle much so adding at some place would be more interesting hitsound-wise. Also since finish here 00:33:805 (1) - Please add finish at end of this slider.
02:06:037 (1,2,3,4) - Clap at begin on all these sliders sound nice to me. Feel like the composer is emphasizing the stanza here to me so doing clap on your sliders begin here fit perfectly with this.Crescendo effect seem nice too since song is increasing in intensity here.
02:18:923 (2,4) - No clap here like previous section?
02:25:704 (4) - Clap?
02:26:382 (5) - Same as 01:02:288.
02:29:773 (2) - Clap?
*02:46:728 (1) - Same as 01:22:634
Notice some hitsound inconsistency between the two sections, consider double checking hitsound a bit. I mark some stuff with *, which mean, if you don't change, please tell me why so I can understand more about your mapping style.
[Normal]
- Not fond of 2hp > 5hp in Hard and it's the same hp drain as Easy, consider +1 hp drain to this diff
00:12:103 (1) - Whistle at begin, now that I check Hard and Insane, I don't get why whistle wasn't put in Easy & Normal.
00:22:615 (1) - Whistle?
00:25:328 (1,4,5,6) - Feel like you could add some whistle here, a suggestion is end of (1), begin of (4) and on (5,6). If whistle feel empty to you, add to begin of these two sliders 00:26:006 (2,3) and perhaps at end of (2) too.
00:32:449 (3,4,5) - To keep the whistle distribution a bit even throughout the map (if you follow above suggestion), consider whistle on (3,4), begin of (5).
00:39:230 (1,2,3,4) - Whistle every two ticks here starting from the begin of (1)? Seem good with how the vocal and drum is here to me so basically, whistle on the stanza and 3rd white tick.
00:41:943 (1) - Finish at begin
00:52:794 (1) - ^
01:15:004 (2) - Want to see a finish at begin here due to cymbal
01:18:056 (3,4) - Claps on the repeat seem better to me than at end.
*01:22:634 (1,2) - Feel weird to me due to no note on 01:23:312, I feel vocal is much more prominent then drum here so you should follow it instead. Basically, I prefer two repeating sliders with one repeat instead. http://puu.sh/XiEO I don't think you should make a rhythm like this when considering Easy.
01:38:910 (1,2,3,4) - Same as 00:25:328 about placing some whistle.
01:45:692 (3,4) - Whistle at begin
01:51:117 (2,3) - ^
01:56:543 (3,4) - ^
01:57:899 (1) - Finish at begin
02:02:985 (5,1,2,3,4) - Same as 00:39:230
02:06:037 (1) - Finish at begin?
02:27:739 (1) - Finish at begin
*02:34:521 (1) - Don't understand why you change to a slider with a red point all the sudden
*02:46:728 (1,2) - Same as 01:22:634
Same comment about hitsound inconsistency as Easy. I think adding some more whistle would make hitsound more interesting. A bit too much 1/2 to my taste considering Easy, but I'm personally fine with difficulty spread. Be sure to reply to what I mark with * if you don't change those suggestions.
[Hard]
Begin - 00:22:530 - Not too fond of whistle every two stanza since I hear nothing in music to justify them, prefer if you only put when there is cymbal.
*00:31:092 (7) - This 1/4 feel weird to me, sure you don't want to keep it to 1/2 rhythm?
00:34:483 (2,3) - I prefer slider here, but just preference.
00:36:517 (2) - Same shape as (2) looks nicer to me http://puu.sh/XiRQ Adjust placement of (1) a bit of course.
00:52:794 (1) - Finish at begin
01:17:208 (1) - Finish seem better to me than clap
*01:57:729 (1) - I really prefer if you ctrl+r this, this jump feel similar to an Insane.
02:14:175 (2) - Want to see a whistle at begin to follow the guitar
02:32:486 (1,2) - Really prefer playing this pattern stacked than spaced out like before.
*02:45:541 (5) - Seem weird to me you did an anti jump (stack) here, really prefer for you to continue the jump pattern.
I didn't check hitsound really carefully this time and probably won't check it carefully for the next two diffs too, sorry. Hitsound is my least favorite mod to do even through most of my mods so far is based off hitsound. I didn't mention adding whistle since I already mention some ideas from Normal, so please consider them here too and for Insane. Some place I definitely want you to add whistle for example is 00:32:449 (4,5) - (begins) 01:51:117 (1,3) - (begins) Just some quick examples, there are more places. Basically, whenever the vocal is like this, to emphasize it with whistle. I think hitsound will sound really good for these parts if you do this.
[G.Hero]
00:12:442 (2,3,4) - I'm not too fond of playing a straight hit circle pattern, just something that feel unnatural to me, consider like this? http://puu.sh/Xj6r
00:12:782 (4,5) - Also prefer if you add whistle to the last hit circle before each pause, nicer for gameplay to me.
Now my opinion of this part [00:12:103 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,5)], I'm not too fond of this rhythm since the vocal isn't singing perfectly on time here, look at 00:13:968 (5). I hope you consider the guitar instead if you want to do something like this or slider to compensate for the timing of vocal singing here.
00:16:851 (5) - Unsure of your whistle pattern here as there are several things you could follow here. I'll assume vocal for now so whistle at begin and end?
00:19:563 (2) - Whistle at begin
00:22:276 (2) - ^
00:44:655 (1,2,3,4) - Prefer 1/2 sliders jump pattern here. One main reason why I want you to do a slider is because of the drums on the red tick, I feel you are ignoring a sound which represent the increase in intensity of this part here. The only way you show the increase in intensity here is by spacing this bit larger and I think this is counter intuitive because it feel like thanks to spacing, this note are 3/2 apart or 2/1 apart, not 1/1. I hope you consider it.
00:46:690 (5,6,7) - Prefer different spacing (jump?) for vocal here. I'm not good with hit circle patterns, but here's an idea http://puu.sh/XjjV. Play it and it feel pretty nice thanks to the jump for these notes.
00:58:219 (3) - Where the slider ball slow down (due to red points) feel off to me, this shape feel more correct to me http://puu.sh/XjlQ
01:01:610 (3,4,5,6) - Would prefer if you keep following the vocal here and do a slider again like 01:00:932 (2). Help prepare for the upcoming hit circle jump pattern too.
01:08:392 (1) - If you space this out further from previous note, would be better for me, for example, try x:120 y:368. I hit this too early at first due to spacing.
01:11:104 (1,2,3) - And perhaps you can place this like how you place 01:08:392 (1,2,3) to tell the player it's the 1/4 rhythm again. I thought this was a 1/2 jump pattern.
01:36:706 (2,3,4) - Similar to 00:12:442. To add to this, listen to the vocal, she's not singing in the same pitch or tone, but different. This is why it feel weird to me personally because this pattern suggest she is singing in the same way. This also applies to instrument. Idea incase none http://puu.sh/Xjzs
Wow the second half feel completely different from the 1st half. I feel the second half was really well done, a few stuff I don't agree with, but they are minor. So my only advice is work on the 1st half more. Try just playing the diff once, I feel the 2nd half pre kiai was better than the 1st, but both play prety nicely. For both kiai, I don't like the feel of transiting from playing a long slider then lot of 1/2 hit circles in a row, but that's just my preference. I prefer your hit circle jump pattern in the second kiai through. Hard for me to mention everything I find weird because the more I play this beatmap, the more I get use to all the patterns so sorry that I don't have any suggestion for the second half.
[C.Hero]
- Prefer 1500 audio lead-in for this
- Ignoring hitsound here as I already mention everything I want to in Easy/Normal/Hard, please also apply hitsound suggestion from those diffs here.
00:03:626 (1) - Intentionally not perfectly stack? Pretty noticeable in gameplay and don't see a reason for this.
00:06:339 (1) - 2.3x spacing or lower spacing, too big jump for me compare to the other.
00:10:408 (2) - Prefer this space out like the other two patterns after this.
00:46:351 (2,3,4,5,6) - Prefer a bit higher distant snap (1.2-1.3x), first time I play this, I overshot the hit circles because of the 1.6x distant snap for these two notes 00:46:012 (1,2)
01:45:353 (6) - Idk, but this jump doesn't play as well as 01:40:266 (1) for me, consider reducing to 2.0x?
02:11:463 (1) - I think anti jump works better, something like this feel better to me http://puu.sh/Xk2w
03:48:459 (3,4) - I think you shouldn't do a jump with anti jump. Something like this instead? http://puu.sh/Xk6m
04:41:442 (3,5) - I think the jump should be on (5) or there should should be a jump on (5) so something like this I guess http://puu.sh/Xk8D I really prefer if there was no jump on (3) through.
04:54:840 (5,6) - Slider? Doesn't feel nice to hit a hit circle rhythm like this with timing change.
Quite tired now as quite a long song and 5 diffs so I may have miss some stuff I want to mention, sorry about that.
Don't really have an issue with the map except for the hitsound inconsistency. Pretty noticeable when you use a finish/clap for a part, then stop all the sudden. As usual I'll wait for replies before starring and I'll come back to double check the hitsound incase of any other major inconsistency.
Good luck! Sorry for getting lazy in my mod toward the end. This is the map I want you to mod for m4m http://osu.ppy.sh/s/50112
