before to rank could you add new combo on 01:02:095 (9) because you are using the same spacing of the previous pattern but without any kind of stacks? It's easier and more comfortable to play. I mean in the hardest diff.

Before anyone moves on to ranking, I need to discuss the streams on Presto.
This is not a mod, just an overview, so no KD please.

A lot of these streams aren't as intuitive as they could be.

00:50:438 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3) - This part right here is confusing because of the 1/4 slider on the blue tick.
A more predictable (and more playable) version would be this http://puu.sh/2ejc2
Notice how the 1/4 slider is now on the next big white tick.
01:04:237 - The fact that this stream starts on the blue instead of white will throw off some players. Adding a circle at 01:04:152 - is mappable (there is a beat there) and would easily bridge the gap of confusion.
01:05:866 (3,1) - Players are used to starting streams on white ticks, especially if the object has a new combo on it. These streams look like they will be on white ticks, but are instead of blue. This is extremely confusing and feels unnatural to play.
01:07:923 (3,1) - This has the same effect. A slider within the same stream makes it confusing as well (10)
01:10:323 (3,1) - This is an example of one that is not confusing. It starts on a white tick and is easy to predict.
01:12:209 (4,1) - Confusing blue tick
01:13:238 (10,1) - Confusing blue tick again
01:14:609 (1) - This is inconsistent. I was expecting this to be a blue tick (or better yet, a white tick), but it's a red for some reason. This threw me off even more than the previous bits.
01:14:609 (1) - This drumroll should end at 01:14:780 then add a circle at 01:14:952 with a new combo on it. Way better for emphasis and gameplay.
01:16:838 (3,1) - This sudden 3/4 spacing between notes is one of very few times in the map. This sort of gameplay is very confusing for a lot of players and will cause many a 100. Adding a circle at 01:17:351 - is recommended.
02:00:809 (1) - Might be worth fading the volume on this spinner.

I see absolutely no problem about that slider on 1/4 tick. Here goes a stream and then a slider, i can add a new combo there, if it's so hard to read.
Also your suggestion destroys correct placement of patterns. This is trance remix of CLASSICAL music, and CLASSICAL music has tones of stuff which need new technics and new ways to map.

First of all, there are no beats on 01:04:152, i don't know how have you listened a beat there. Even if there would be a one, i'd not still added a note there, Because melody starts on blue tick and according to sheets it's correct, if you want i can link you a part from sheets.

Again Let them even start on yellow tick, if melody says like that, then i'll do the same.

You were expecting a blue tick after 1/8 thrill slider? O_o

This 'drumroll' should not end at 01:14:780. I don't like short thrill 1/8 sliders, just 3 repeats, why i should cut it, if i can extend it to first main melody note?

Idk, i have asked various players to test this, nobody had any problems at this section. And as you noticed, i don't really approve mixed beats with melody notes.
Take a note, Presto is a standard insane difficulty, not for beginners, not for average players, not even for advanced players, for pros and only for pros.

- 00:45:295 (3) - no new combo there

Alright, just a couple things that should be addressed before proceeding.


  1. BG has the wrong ratio again, probably because it's another file. (IIRC, the other one had something written in the middle)
  2. I've noticed that this dark purple blends too much with some parts of the BG, lighten it a bit more, please.

I totally forgot to say, that previous BG has been replaced with the new one. And previous one had 1368 x 768, now it's correct 1366 x 768. Also, removed that Legatissimo word


Lighten a bit that purple color.

I don't think that's where the problem lies.

Also, I think the streams from 00:07:752 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - are effed up since you put the emphasis (finish HS) on the slider where it should be on the next combo because that's the whole point of having a jump here. The jump just feels late is it is atm. If you want to emphasize it correctly, you'd need to put the slider at 00:08:095 (5) - and put the jump with the new combo at 00:08:266 (7) -.

Anyway, good luck on reranking.
