[web] osu!mania: only show Top 40 ranks on profiles

osu!mania is still a pretty new game mode, and thus it's pretty much impossible NOT to get a top 500 rank after finishing a map, so basically every play is shown on the Recent Activity as an "achieved rank", even if it was the worst rank on the map.
This is kinda annoying - at least for me - since I'm actually a standard player who sometimes plays !mania for fun, and once I do so, my profile gets spammed with all my !mania plays which are like totally uninteresting and which replace my actual standard ranks.

Therefore, I'd like to have only the Top 40 ranks of osu!mania plays shown on the profile, until there is an actual reason to consider top 500 ranks interesting in !mania.

I searched but couldn't find a similar request, pls just lock if I missed something

osu!mania is still pretty new and unpopulated. It might also be useful to decrease the limit for taiko too. It's just too easy to get into the top 40. I'm not sure how it looks in ctb though.

tbh, I doubt this behaviour will ever change. It has to be consistent over all modes on your profile. It will just things weird.

In osu! standard it is a common sight to find maps with over ten thousand ranked scores, a good lot of them not nearly as remarkable as Big Black. One careless try on most osu maps will fling you somewhere below 1000. In mania it's the opposite, guaranteeing most of your scores to pop up in the 500+ bracket, regardless of time or effort. Of course there are exceptions, but they're not consistent enough to actually override the rule.

The Recent Activity tab should display somewhat remarkable results, not your average performance.

The system works perfectly for the other game modes that have had years out already, but mania is still too green to be working on like the others.

This same problem exists with other modes as well. I'm not even that good at osu!, and yet I haven't seen a "3 days ago" in my recent activity in weeks, because it always fills with those random #200-#400 ranks.
The recent activity of newer standard players would be empty for months unless they farm ranks on [Easy]'s, so Top 40 wouldn't make sense for standard imo.

What about Top150 for all gamemodes? usually you need a decent FC with mods on standard to get such a rank, and at least it isn't guaranteed to get Top150 on !mania with a random play.

how about "top 15% of scores (40 <= x <= 400)" since we have the total scores now

I'm pretty sure it will be more popular soon. Since the mode is something like O2Jam(Every official server is closed based on Wikipedia.) If some notice osu then they might come play. I don't see a reason why this should be approved

Even if it does get more popular, reaching top500 will still be ridicolously easy.
