I can not tell the type at all :l

It's Japanese name is similar to Leafeon and Glaceon, though. Anyone who knows Japanese know which typing Nin refers to?

I cannot pinpoint its type at all, but its colour scheme reminds me so much of Milotic.

Seriously, it is the most adorable thing revealed yet though.

I can hear people going "IT MUST BE LIGHT TYPE IT'S A NEW TYYYYPE"

It really does looks like a Milotic. I'm going to guess Bug type I mean Flying type, but I'm probably wrong.

Guys, guys, its type is very obvious.

It's clearly a Milotic type.

Well so far its been described as Milotic, Skyla, and a few others.

It's design seems to be made specifically so no one can guess it

n -> m

fu -> ph, f, ff

-> Nymph + "ia"

ia -> eon 'cuz TPCi is "FUCK YEAH EONS!"

-> "Nympheon" would be the English equivalent. Or "Nymfeon" to make it less obvious.

The name isn't much useful in that case, seeing Ekaru's translation.

If you use Google translate it returns you "Ninfia", and dividing and adapting the japanese symbols returns "Nynph ear".
But I'm not so skilled in japanese.

Guessing Time
Normal -> Eevee (maybe)
Fire -> Flareon
Electric -> Jolteon
Water -> Vaporeon
Psychic -> Espeon
Dark -> Umbreon
Grass -> Leafeon
Ice -> Glaceon
Since these are taken the only free are:
Fighting -> No
Flying -> Don't think
Poison -> Maybe
Ground -> No
Rock -> No
Bug -> No
Dragon -> Maybe
Ghost -> Maybe
Steel ->Don't think
A new type like somebody rumor -> Don't think

Knowing Japanese really won't help, because these names usually root from a different language...
I.e グレイシア -> glacier

So what ever language nymph origins from is the language you need to know...
The only Japanese word that sounds remotely close to nymph is 妊婦, which means pregnant women...

The name implies that it's a bug, yeah. If it's a bug then the name definitely has double meaning.

My milotic iirc knew recover toxic hydro pump and some ice move that I forgot :P

Honest opinion: meh polygon 2 does a better job at it

I just read an interesting thing on reddit, what if the Ninfia that has been revealed was actually a shiny? Then the colour wouldn't have been a complete giveaway.

Not to be a killjoy or anything like that in here but I'm more concerned about the new eon's BST distribution than the actual appearance :c

guessing base stat...

if it knows Quiver Dance (which it most likely will) it'll possibly be one of the strongest eevees around :P
^from that it better be a sp.atk pokemon... inb4 it being an physical one becoming another flareon...(although bug has nice physical moves)

People have been saying this singe gen2 and it's never been true. You're just looking at it through a nostalgia filter. There have been a mix of good and cruddy pokemons since gen1 and that's not going to change.

Considering that the Japanese name for Moltres is "Fire", what mm says is pretty true. :P
