Well the new season has started in America(The BBC one), so I might as well get this started.

Top Gear is a British TV show about 3 idiots and a tame racing driver who do car stuff.
So...yeah.

I never had the chance to watch this, but I might look at that right now ! One of my friends (who loves cars but so much she would completely go crazy at races) recommended me to watch this.

I'm neither an expert on cars nor a motoring enthusiast but I still love the show. That's what's so great about it, it attracts audiences of all sorts. There's few things I'd rather watch than May, Hamster and Jeremy attempting something stupid and ambitious while having a good laugh.

To be fair though they are smart enough to build pretty much anything.
I also like how they throw around all the technical terms around and explain what they mean in simple words.
I now know the difference between over-steer and under-steer because of them.

aren't those terms self-evident or do they not mean what they say they mean

ie oversteering is when you steer too sharply for a turn

I need to start watching it again, I stopped after midway through the 17th series and I still think it's a great show. I'll have to download some more episodes when I get home.

Well, both oversteer and understeer involves taking a turn too fast.
Oversteer is when you turn and the front turns but the back does not so you end up sideways or backwards.
Understeer is when the wheels are turned but the car simply refuses to turn.

It's amazing how they tinker with older models and make them seem amazing. They demonstrate how journeys and roadtrips in average and even shabby, seemingly useless vehicles can still be incredibly fun.

^Agreed^ Still Top Gear DID make their own electric car which ran off 3 batteries and a desiel generator. The end result.. want exacly that good. Still it did beat the Ge Whizz!
