Did all that along with dhcp, static ip, custom dns same as router, dmz, port forwarding, still nothing

The furthest I've got was seeing everyone's VR, then error

fucking bullshit, I'm really going to have to call nintendo now aren't I

EDIT: Actually, does anyone else play with a built-in Mario Kart on the SD card?

I don't have Kart on SD, but I have several other games on one SD card and they all run perfectly. I think all SD cards aren't made equal though? I don't know, ask your local SD card expert.

They do! One on Friday at I don't know when (not sure how right the topic time is) and one on Saturday at 10 pm my time which is 3 am Sunday GMT and you do the math your time. We take over #videogames but do most of our chatting during gameplay on Skype these days because it's more fun to actually yell at each other.

Yes, especially now that I can actually play properly. Same times as in the thread title, which would be 0:15 Sat GMT and 3 AM Sunday GMT. Well, when we start on time anyways.

Has anyone ever emailed Nintendo before? How long do they take to reply? I'd prefer to avoid calling them as much has possible :x

Also, do gliders only start unlocking after the karts and wheels all unlock? I'm 700 coins in and I still have yet to get any glider.

There aren't very many gliders to unlock, compared to karts and wheels.
I got the flower glider very early on.

Apparently my router just can't take matches more than 2 people.

Played my second 1v1 match, and honestly, I never knew you could actually fail the start in Waluigi Pinball. I don't know how that guy did it, but he did it. Thrice.

Oh, so he was throwing the match then. Explains why the connection stopped before I passed the finish line in the last track.

Hopefully I'll be able to get my 3DS checked and fixed by the next Kartparty, playing 1v1 in community is no fun when the results are lose or get ragequit on

That has got to have been the worst kartparty I've ever been in. Yes, even worse than when my R button was broken. Why was that?

Because instead of being able to focus on racing I had to deal with a certain someone who was desparately trying to apologize to another certain someone who couldn't bring himself to say, "I forgive you." I should actually be receiving part of the blame because it should have been pretty obvious that I was in on the entire thing and let him in anyways. For the record, I am very sorry for the part I personally had in the incident in question. And no, we don't hate you. We just both have a very immature, trollish sense of humor. Neither of us are going to defend ourselves, though, because it was pretty immature of us and a very douchey thing to do.

P.S. Luigi > Koopa.

EDIT: AKA please just forgive him already so I don't have to deal with that shit. I won't let him join again if you don't want him to but I don't want to have to deal with that crap again.

We meet up during Friday and Saturday nights (which, for you, would be 9:15 AM Saturday and 12 PM Sunday) and race on Worldwide or (very rarely now) the Community we made. To make things more fun, we rage talk over on Skype, though it's not required.

It was just really funny to start this way considering I suck so much at it :V

Either way, did some nice matches and raised that whatever-it-means number to around 1150 in an hour. I guess I'm fine.

Mario Kart.

Oh, and being able to take excellent autodrift lines helped prevent me from falling too far behind in most cases so I could take full advantage of the Mario Kart you guys were committing on each other.

Also, that Daisy Cruiser race was horrible. I made a gazillion mistakes and it was *still* a second place Time Trial. I'm starting to love that combo I was using, though.

I might try playing with my combo and seeing if I can bump my weight class without losing acceleration.

Combo I used was Lightweight + Blue Seven + Red Monster Wheels + Parasol/Flower Glider.

Anyways, there are plenty of 4.75 accel Lightweight combos. My personal favorite was Soda Jet + Roller Wheels - I should really try that combo again since I always loved that thing - and the more popular one is Bumble V + wooden wheels.

Apparently it's Swooper for speed combos and Flower/Peach Parasol for accel combos. Which makes sense, because slower combos need that help doing the glider cuts (which several courses have).

Anyways, I wish somebody told me that you could slow down while drifting just by tapping B before I read about it yesterday. Would've helped me out like a gazillion times. XP

Weird how the gliders have the worst glide ratios of anything in the game.

I've been playing it a bit more lately and feel a tad less rusty. (I still keep missing the perfect starting boost needed to PRB.) The thing is, my right hand gets sore as hell after a few races from gripping the system too hard. I can only do maybe two sets (8 races) at a time.

Out of all the items in the game, I hate the bloopers the most because I hate not being able to see things. >:(

...I actually plan on making videos of me doing OK in WWs with jank karts during Spring Break. Shall I post them here for entertainment value?

Sorry I wasn't there last night! Y'see, at 8 PM I turned on my PS3 to play Darkstalkers Resurrection. But, then I got invited into a good Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed room, and then the best player in the world joined, and then I kind of didn't want to leave. ;_; 'Course, now I feel the need to pound people in MK7 to get my self-esteem back up.

EDIT: 'Course, WiFi is slow when it comes to updating the standings so all it really does online is give you an extra item box.

Just a reminder that next Friday we'll be raiding WW as Luigis. Set this as your Mii but pick the "real" Luigi in game. We'll still need to decide on parts. Since this is WW we should be using something better than all Standards.

As said in Skype, next weekend we're raiding WWs with Luigi. With the same Mii. And Combo. Because we're horrible, horrible people.

mm will be posting the Mii's QR code, as said in Skype. We can decide on the combo later.

Anyways, I'll do some testing tomorrow on parts. :P

Noteworthy 3.75 accel combos:

Roller: Bruiser/Zucchini/Clown
Wood/Sponge: Train
Slim: Soda Jet
Standard: Bee/Egg/Birthday

Of these, I actually like my regular the best... Train+Wood. Bee+Standard has an extra 0.25 speed however.
