It was just really funny to start this way considering I suck so much at it :V

Either way, did some nice matches and raised that whatever-it-means number to around 1150 in an hour. I guess I'm fine.

Oh, and being able to take excellent autodrift lines helped prevent me from falling too far behind in most cases so I could take full advantage of the Mario Kart you guys were committing on each other.

Also, that Daisy Cruiser race was horrible. I made a gazillion mistakes and it was *still* a second place Time Trial. I'm starting to love that combo I was using, though.

I was wondering where you went. Also what combo?

I might try playing with my combo and seeing if I can bump my weight class without losing acceleration.

Combo I used was Lightweight + Blue Seven + Red Monster Wheels + Parasol/Flower Glider.

Anyways, there are plenty of 4.75 accel Lightweight combos. My personal favorite was Soda Jet + Roller Wheels - I should really try that combo again since I always loved that thing - and the more popular one is Bumble V + wooden wheels.

Apparently it's Swooper for speed combos and Flower/Peach Parasol for accel combos. Which makes sense, because slower combos need that help doing the glider cuts (which several courses have).

Anyways, I wish somebody told me that you could slow down while drifting just by tapping B before I read about it yesterday. Would've helped me out like a gazillion times. XP

Weird how the gliders have the worst glide ratios of anything in the game.

I've been playing it a bit more lately and feel a tad less rusty. (I still keep missing the perfect starting boost needed to PRB.) The thing is, my right hand gets sore as hell after a few races from gripping the system too hard. I can only do maybe two sets (8 races) at a time.

Out of all the items in the game, I hate the bloopers the most because I hate not being able to see things. >:(

I took another video yesterday. My MK7 lines look more or less like this when I'm using a combo I am used to:



I'm really bad so stop hitting me with items, meanies. :( There's no need to!

...I actually plan on making videos of me doing OK in WWs with jank karts during Spring Break. Shall I post them here for entertainment value?

Sorry I wasn't there last night! Y'see, at 8 PM I turned on my PS3 to play Darkstalkers Resurrection. But, then I got invited into a good Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed room, and then the best player in the world joined, and then I kind of didn't want to leave. ;_; 'Course, now I feel the need to pound people in MK7 to get my self-esteem back up.

EDIT: 'Course, WiFi is slow when it comes to updating the standings so all it really does online is give you an extra item box.

Just a reminder that next Friday we'll be raiding WW as Luigis. Set this as your Mii but pick the "real" Luigi in game. We'll still need to decide on parts. Since this is WW we should be using something better than all Standards.

As said in Skype, next weekend we're raiding WWs with Luigi. With the same Mii. And Combo. Because we're horrible, horrible people.

mm will be posting the Mii's QR code, as said in Skype. We can decide on the combo later.

Noteworthy 3.75 accel combos:

Roller: Bruiser/Zucchini/Clown
Wood/Sponge: Train
Slim: Soda Jet
Standard: Bee/Egg/Birthday

Of these, I actually like my regular the best... Train+Wood. Bee+Standard has an extra 0.25 speed however.

Bee/Standard, Jet/Slim, and Train/Wood are all fine with me.
Zucchini/Roller felt feeble to me and was hard to MT in.
I'll give the Bruiser/Roller and Egg/Standard combos a shot on Friday's party or if I get there sooner.

Bee/Standard/Flower and Train/Wood/Flower are tied for the best-looking IMO, but I think Train/Wood/Flower's easier to use. I'll try out some more on the way home.

Seeing as I ate out the past two weekends then went to the casino afterwards, I'm not sure if I'll be around in time. Even if I do end up being late, I'll still be a part of any ongoing raid. If not, we can reschedule.

That glitch is really hard; I can't do it right. I can make the crazy bounce stuff happen but you also need to aim where you bounce towards. Usually I'll bounce clear over the left rail and fall off. Sometimes I can get into the launch pad and get a higher-than-normal glider but never high enough to reach the top level. I just land on the grey roof and get picked up.

And hyper hell yeah @ F-Zero X. Maybe we should try some online emulator netplay with that sometime. It actually worked pretty well the one time I ever tried it. :P

Just to clarify, I troll everyone pretty equally but I'm usually more subtle about it. It's just that once every couple months I feel like doing a very obvious troll to Blaze because he reacts easily. ;P I will admit that I 100% deserved mm's star-ramming wrath for that.
