Its pressure sensitive.BRBP wrote:
All I care about is how light the pen is, and how accurately the tablet measures pressure.
So probably not.
Edit: AAA Battery? Never

One unlikely possibility to negate the risk would be to have the users actually commit to buying one before you order them. This is highly unlikely to work but it is plausible. Have everyone who really wants one to essentially order a ticket (like a pre-order but paid in full, not just $5 down) from you for the tablet. If you meet the mark for how many you need to get sold to order them by a certain date then go with it, if not return the money and walk away without any loss. But again I can't see people actually willing to commit like this.

Pretty much this. I've already invested in a Bamboo tablet and it seems like this tablet is pretty much the same if not worse than a Wacom.Kaoru wrote:
Seeing as I already have a tablet, I probably wouldn't buy one. Unless there were advantages of one over the other. Only then would i reconsider.

no osu branded mouse? D;

Another suggestion that might help you sell them is to give a supporter tag for a month or two with the purchase maybe? You never know, it might sell more that way.. People like bonuses from stuff they buy
This. I would have if this was available when I bought a tablet to replace mouse for Osu! but now it's too late for me.Kaoru wrote:

YES! I would actually buy one of those! This is a great idea!peppy wrote:
I have been in contact with a tablet manufacturer, and it would seem it may be possible to make osu!-branded tablet. It would be an 8x5" tablet with a custom osu! design, and I'd be aiming to sell it for the cheapest feasibly possible (currently looking to be about $35-40 + shipping). I have already tested one and the performance is on-par with cheaper wacom tablets I have used, with the only major difference being a battery operated pen. After a week of use I haven't seen this as a problem, both considering weight (single AAA battery) and battery life (4,000 hours continuous use). Spare nibs would also be included for the hardcore players.
The biggest issue is that in order to get them at such a cheap price, I will need to order in bulk. I am tentative to take up such an investment unless I know there are enough people that would be interested in buying one of these devices, so please use this thread to let me know. If possible, share it with others that you think would be interested, too!
Keep in mind this would likely be the cheapest tablet you can buy in many regions of the world, even after shipping. That is my aim, anyway.

Yes, it would be able to be used for drawing.D o r o r o wrote:
But can it be used for drawing? And what are those nibs are they talking about? Does the tip of the pen gradually wears out? I'm new to graphics tablets, I'm sorry
I mean in the sense that "They might surprise us with the durability".D o r o r o wrote:

Thank you! But does the nib shortens like a mechanical pencil lead?SilentCipher wrote:

No - but if you use it roughly or put too much pressure on the nib, it will eventually wear down, as a rock does in a river.D o r o r o wrote:

Of course it could be used for drawing too.Xafilah wrote:
If it were just for the purpose of playing OSU, I would consider it, but if it could do other things such as draw then I would very likely buy one.
