Before we moved to Oklahoma (and this was a long-ass time ago). and we were in this cul-de-sac, I made friends with a neighbor in a duplex house next to us (all the duplexes!), and later on, I once snuck out of the house with my new friend to his house, and when my dad came over to get me, boy was he pissed! I actually didn't regret it.
Double-feature: In the same place we lived in, my granny was at wal-mart one day, and I was like "I should go see her". So... I snuck out of the house and walked bare-foot ALL THE WAY TO THE WAL-MART (It was like 0.1 or 0.2 mile, I'm not sure) only to get stopped by an employee because I was walking barefoot. I waited outside for her, and she came out and saw me, and she was like "What are you doing out here? Did you wanna see me?" I said "yes".
A little while afterward, I saw dad's truck drive over, and I knew then I was in deep shit. He came out like "WHAT THE poot!", and he was like "Why did you sneak out of the house!?" and so on so forth
I think I was grounded for a couple of days after that. Whoop.
p.s. I was less than 11 years old when both of these happened, true story
