someone said this to me earlier. i think 10 is enough since this is the best of osu! not maps just maps you like. yes there is a difference.

though at one point in time i think we might need more votes. next year we might need more ._.

If I wanted to vote for all the maps I marked down I'd need at least 3 times the votes. :D
I cut my list down to ten and these are the maps that remained. May still change.

I have idea, how make voting more accurate! peppy, you may shuffle all beatmaps in list. If a person knows what he will vote, he would use the search, and not alphabetically, but the people who do not know who they will vote, will go down the list and vote for your favorite map, thus leaving no chance maps to be selected, located in the bottom of the list. I think this should help!
My requests here! Soon they will fill the whole world! :D

I have a few questions:
1. When does this poll end? I haven't been actively playing new maps since 6 months ago, so it's gonna take me a while to go through the ones I haven't played yet.
2. Are we only allowed to cast votes on different maps? or can we cast all 10 votes on one map?
3. We only vote based on how it is mapped? What about SB and skin?

1) at a guess, December 31st
2) 1 vote per map
3) you voted based on however you like, so you can vote based of SB and Skin as well if you want

I voted based on what maps I came back to play and enjoyed trying my best to complete these maps.

the good thing of 2012-maps is at the same time the big problem of them: the general quality has risen to mediocre-good for most maps. but because of the high general quality of the maps, there aren't as many outstanding maps as there were before. many maps that are considered really good are out of my league too, and I wasn't around for the first quarter of 2012, so it actually was really hard to even find 10 maps that were particularly good.
