Sublime as in that blown-away feeling you just got after you read a book.

Literature as not only in words, but also in art. Anime and manga, movies are apporved.

Please suggest something, dark, about critical realism or emotional(as in romance), I am writing a novel about love and darkness of the world and I am assimilating everything I can.

The his dark materials trilogy was a series I quite enjoyed as a young(er)'un that managed to throw together faith, science fiction, fantasy, love, thick english accents and philosophy. Mayhaps you would find that to your liking.

I highly, highly, highly recommend Ken Kesey's One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. The setting is in a ward with mental illnesses, but is book is actually a piece of criticism, about people, and the oppressive and manipulative nature of the government.
