basically if a binational team is formed, that means 2 countries have a small number of active ctb players, thats the whole idea with binational teams. With your example, I am well aware that Portugal has a small community but Spain on the other hand are pretty damn active so they have the power of forming their own team.GeeNX wrote:

Chile has plenty of good CTB players to conform a complete 4 people team by themselves afaik. If people start creating binational teams this way, it'd be impossible for many other players to participate.
They just have 3 people able to defeat Asians, so you should know more yet. I complete the lack of another player there so yeah.
And besides, Argentina completely lacks of CtB players with the capacity to outstand some people. I'm beign fair and objective here, you can go and check Argentina's ranking in what CtB respects and see it by yourself, if I didn't form a binational team in the first place I wouldn't be able to participate.

No one is going against Argentina. We all know that you are virtually the only active player there right now. People are just forgetting that if a binational team is formed, both those two countries cannot form a national team of their own.
Well, people from both Chile and Argentina should be happier to have a team able to outstand every CtB player instead of having 2 different teams with lesser chances when it comes to win this.
I mean, they wouln't go and ruin their country's big chances of winning because they want to form a team on their own.

Well Speh, the main argument I used to make my team possible is that in TWC 2012 had been two German teams. German A and German B. It's just that in German A was an Austrian player (and in that tournament was btw an Austrian Taiko team as well) and if that's possible so why not with Liechtenstein?Seph wrote:

Let me just remind you guys that this is a world cup. Yes, WORLD CUP. This be the very olympics of osu!, this was organized so that the CtB community wouldn't feel left alone since the other 2 game modes are having theirs.

based from experience that I've seen on CTB tourney/cup before & about the big chance about the type match that'll be make are Mod type match, I think It would be good if we should add the Backup Slot for every team by 1. because, There are player that superior in some mod but lack in any other mod. so i think it'll be useful later for Any Nation teams later.

Trying to change up some of the binational rule set now so hold on with your team applications for now. If you have already registered no worries you are in no doubt about it. This is the preparation phase of things, we are working out the kinks in everything so we can have an awesome tournament (hopefully osu! standard world cup quality!!!) So if you have any suggestions PLEASE POST THEM HERE!!!! We'll look at all of them and take them into consideration! Lets work as a whole!!
