Disable autoselect text for Beatmap submission

It's really annoying when you're trying to chat with someone when something is submitting, and osu isn't the active window, it just overwrites everything in the beatmap information page. People generally don't completely overwrite their beatmap information everytime they submit, so it doesn't seem helpful.

How is autoselecting all the text upon edit even helpful to begin with? How many times do people edit their post to completely rewrite it?

I don't quite get how you can chat without osu! being the active window. When you submit a beatmap, the active window is immediately switched; you're not supposed to chat while at the same time invoking the Upload Beatmap dialog. Click Upload (or Submit or something) first, then go chat.

Also select all is usually a good way to notify people that the active element is the text box, although I agree on the part about people not completely rewriting stuffs every submission.

If you have chat open when you submit, you can click on the chat to switch the insertion point back to osu's chat screen. It will allow you to message that way. If this is not an intended feature, I wouldn't want it removed, because I don't know why it shouldn't let you switch the active window while osu submits. I mean I don't have to wait for my browser to finish downloading something for me to resume browsing.

I just find it hard to tell whether the insertion point is switched or not. There's no real way to tell if it is. also i could click to unselect too, but really I don't see the importance of this feature. In most other systems and forums there would be a toggle for this under advanced forum options. I suggest giving us such a toggle if there isn't one (haven't checked forum settings in awhile) or just remove it entirely, because it's user preference whether they find it more useful to have autoselect text turned on or off. I find it unhelpful for how I conduct my forum activity.

Unless there is some restriction that prevents this from being feasible, it would be more proper to have a toggle for this.

People usually add info rather than starting all over

This is only helpful the first time you submit.

If anything the bug is that you can't open the chatroom (with either F8 or F9) while the submission screen is there.
