[Banana's Normal]Hitsound patterns are a bit messed up in the middle part but you can hear it so it shouldn't be a problem to fix them (I'm bored so I pointed out every single misplaced whistle
). If you want you can add the claps on the pronounced downbeats like in the other difficulties ([Hard] is a good example) but that is up to you. After fixing the misplaced whistles it sounds good enough and fits the song.
00:00:176 (1) - remove whistle from the beginning, sounds misplaced here but add a clap to the ending to match the song
00:03:176 (4) - ending point to 468/328 on grid for symmetry with 00:04:076 (5) -
00:38:576 (2) - consider adding a finish on the end but with less volume (like @00:19:976 (1) - )
00:48:176 (1) - ^same as above
00:40:676 (4) - ending point to 52/336 on grid for symmetry with 00:41:576 (5) -
00:43:376 (1) - add finish to beginning to match the song
00:46:376 (4,1,2) - try to have equal spacing between the sliders and use a fitting orientation to make this pattern look a bit better. It stands out from the rest of the map:

194,346,51476,1,0,0:0:0
01:15:814 (5) - end this slider 1/16 earlier to match the slowdown
01:32:602 (1) - add whistle
01:33:071 (2) - change whistle on the beginning to clap
01:36:821 (2) - remove whistle from beginning
01:40:571 (2) - ^
01:43:852 (1) - remove whistle from ending
01:47:602 (2) - try if a finish sounds better on the turning point, you could leave it as whistle if you want
01:51:352 (1) - remove whistle from ending
01:55:102 (1) - add whistle on beginning, remove whistle on ending
01:56:977 (3) - add whistle on beginning
01:58:852 (1) - add whistle
01:59:321 (2) - remove whistle from beginning
02:02:367 (7) - add whistle to ending
02:03:071 (2) - remove whistle from beginning
02:06:352 (1) - add whistle
02:06:821 (2) - remove whistle from beginning
02:15:024 (3) - remove whistle from ending
02:15:727 (4) - add whistle to beginning
02:33:071 (1,2) - remove whistle from (2) and add whistle to ending of (1)
02:35:883 (3,4,1) - remove whistle from (1) and add whistle to ending of (3)
02:38:227 (2) - add whistle to beginning, remove from ending
02:40:102 (4) - add whistle
02:40:571 (1) - remove whistle from beginning
02:41:977 (2) - add whistle
02:42:446 (3) - remove whistle from beginning
02:43:383 (4) - add whistle to ending
02:44:321 (1) - remove whistle
02:45:727 (3) - add clap to ending
02:51:352 (1) - remove whistle from turn and add to beginning
02:53:227 (3) - add whistle to beginning
02:55:102 (1) - ^
02:58:852 (1) - ^
02:59:321 (2) - remove whistle from beginning
03:07:289 (2,3) - remove whistle from end of (3) and add whistle to (2)
03:08:227 (4) - add whistle to beginning
03:14:321 (3,4,5) - add whistle to end of (3), remove whistle from (4), add whistle to beginning of (5)
This diff has a good flow and is interesting to play despite being the easiest one of the set. Good job!
[Hard]01:50:413 (2) - remove the last repeat here. It doesn't fit and completely breaks the flow. 2x repeat sliders almost NEVER play well and especially in a place like this where there is a break in the vocals before the new phrase starts.
02:30:257 (3,4) - ugly overlap in an otherwise PERFECTLY placed map
Fix this to have a small perfect gap between (3) and (4). Even if you have to use a bit higher spacing it doesn't matter here. Sliders are never played to their exact ending point so a spacing that is a bit higher between those sliders can feel more "natural". Start by placing 02:29:085 (3,1,2) - without gridsnap (make (3) match the previous 02:26:975 (3) - and it should make some room for 02:30:257 (3) - to be placed better); or use this (done for you
):
160,254,149085,1,0,0:0:0
180,176,149320,5,8,0:0:0
260,176,149554,2,0,B|344:176,2,80
221,105,150257,2,0,B|125:105,1,80
03:03:304 (2,3) - don't do this! The approaching circle and the following slider overlap with the actual overlap (sounds strange...) and it is almost not readable that way. Either spread this out without overlap:
http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/483175 or use a compressed triplet (0,50x spacing) with circles instead of the short slider:
http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/48317803:07:054 (2,3) - ^same
03:10:804 (2,3) - ^
You can try to adjust the combos in the later parts of the song. They seem to follow the metronome but it would be better to use combos to indicate the phrases of the vocals imo. This is up to you as the current combos are not "wrong" or out of place.
Otherwise absolutely great 'Hard'. I love it
[Blove's Insane]Maybe change the diff name to [vivicat's Insane]? But it's up to you how to name your map...
Some spacings are confusing and seem very random. Took some time to get used to this. The spacing differences seem to be intended and after a few trys and understanding the "pattern" behind the spacings this map was fun to play! So I guess it wasn't random spacing...would be cool if you can explain the intention behind all this to me or if it even was intended in the first place
01:35:179 (2,4) - move a bit to the right to have equal distances to the slider in the middle:
http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/48319601:39:632 (3) - this looks awkward
It's okay if you REALLY want to keep this ugly slider but I recommend using something more in line with everything else you did in this map.
01:58:382 (1,2,3,4,5,1) - Timing is
wrong. The drum roll starts @01:58:851 - and the slider ending should be on the tick were it starts:
http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/483205 Also consider moving 01:57:913 (1,2,1) - a bit to reduce the overlap of 01:59:320 (1) - (If you overlap this too much
I consider this unrankable! The combo number has to be completely visible with some space to the sides!)
02:20:179 (2) - don't stack this circle here. It breaks the flow of the previous slider-stream-combo.
03:30:907 (7) - curve this a bit more to reduce the extreme overlap
http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/48318703:31:798 (2,3) - reduce spacing a bit (2,00x max). Huge 1/4 jump's don't fit this slow outro (to be precise: they NEVER fit anywhere...)
[Insane]01:16:495 (3) - slightly wrong timing. Move this back by 1/16 to match the slowdown
looking good - will indepth check this depending on the work of the other parts.
[Sp3's Taiko]so good
If you don't change something, please explain to me why (as short as possible) to make my recheck a bit easier and faster. PM me after you applied the mod and I'll get back to you as soon as possible! Until then...have a
