A lot of higher-level players will run into situations where the score is tied, like so:
I asked peppy and he told me that a #2 or #3 score that is tied with #1 will be counted as a #2 or #3 by pp, which means that players who set scores on types of maps without spinners or players who spin equally will be counted for less than someone who did it sooner. While I think it makes sense that the player who set the equal score first will be considered #1 by the leaderboards (though I also think all tied scores should display the same rank, e.g. #1, #1, #3 if the first place has two tying scores), I think that it would make for a fairer ranking system if scores tied for #1 (or 2, or 26, or whatever) were all considered #1 (or 2, 26, etc.) by the pp system.
