So Infinite Undiscovery is kind of crappy. I played the first disc, but then I just sorta lost the desire to play it any more. It's certainly nowhere near as good as Resonance of Fate or Star Ocean III or anything. So I went and bought Bastion. God, that game is really cool. I started playing it, then I just couldn't stop playing until I had beaten it.

Also, this new Dashboard is taking some getting used to. By the way, isn't there a way to change the theme on your Xbox? I remember them asking about it during the intial set-up, but I can't find where you can do that without doing intial set-up again.

They changed the dashboard? I need to log on more often, damn osu!monthly and school. There was an option in the tab that had your avatar that let you change your theme (and of course can download them from the marketplace and use stuff from your pc in them) but if they changed it all then idk.

Oh, there it is. On the Profile section next to Customize Avatar. I kept looking in Settings. And yeah, the new Dashboard looks like a Windows phone now with all the tiles and stuff. I kind of like the fact that they actually have a spot for the Game Marketplace now. Like, you don't have to press the Xbox button to go there anymore. Settings are easy to get to now as well. Quick Launch if kind of nice, I guess. Not to mention Cloud Saving (which I can't use cause it's Gold only, but whatever).

Instead of saving to your hard drive or storage device, you can save to an online storage place. That's mostly helpful if you play on more than one Xbox. Like you could go to your friend's house and download your save from the cloud. At the very least, it's a decent back-up. PS3 has that, but I don't have PS Plus.

That does indeed sound useful, does it function as a backup for data that you update once in a blue moon in case your xbox explodes while falling off of a building? Or as an online save for things such as constantly updating game save data on its own in place of the HDD.

The second thing. It's an alternate place to save your game saves and it updates the save like it would with a hard drive save. It's 512mb of space, by the way. PS3 gets 150mb. Also, when you update the Dashboard, there's actually a video called Cloud Saving 101 or something and it does a decent job of explaining it.

Oh wow, looks like Silver users can use Xbox Live Gold until Monday. That's cool and all, but I'm not sure what to do with that.

Man, they just had Bastion half priced for the holidays and I already paid full price for that. That always sucks.

Edit: Oh, but wait, Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet is also half off until January 2nd.

Just spent about 5 days playing through the original Banjo-Kazooie/Tooie games. Those are still some awesome games. I'll have to get around to Nuts & Bolts at some point.

Just got a load of cheap games. Crackdown 1 and 2, Prey, Condemned, Lost Planet 1. I'm mostly excited about Crackdown, which is why I got both of them. The other games were 3 or 5 bucks each.

I just got done getting 100% in the game for the second time a few days ago. That game is still awesome. I wish there was another game with that battle system.

Well, the two Crackdown games were a little frustrating. I thought I'd be a little more invincible or mobile once I upgraded a bit, but not really. Anyway, I've been playing a ton of 360 exclusives because I've been trying to see if there was a single friggin' exclusive for this system that was really, really good. I was running out of games, but I finally found it. Metro 2033. Damn. This game is cool. It's not perfect, but it's a lot more interesting and fun than the other games I've tried so far.

I didn't say they were hard, I said they were frustrating. The homing rocket launcher guys in Shai-gen were fucking stupid and time-wasting, it took way too long to get to the top of some buildings, cars are pointless, and picking things up to throw took so much time that it was pointless. In Crackdown 2, the wingsuit just doesn't do anything. It's only practical use is to go slightly further when you jump from a tall building. Also, in both games, it's so stupid hard to actually target an explosive that's next to a group of enemies. The map in the first game wasn't even accurate, and they don't give you a standard map in the second game. You have to just pan over one of the objective-specific maps.

Xbox Live is starting to become an annoyance. The multiplayer & party chat & stuff is fine, it's just I got hacked and everything went upside down. I got my account back and changed my GT from SonicAlex311 to xXAlex311Xx. It sucks.

So yeah, I pretty much have MOST of the Call of Duty games which I rarely play anymore, both Borderlands, both Crackdowns, Saints Row 2 & 3, and a lot of other gems I either have on XBLA, demos or on disc. Yeah.

EDIT: Also Bass, I'm beta testing it.

I had high expectations of Halo 3 when I started playing it. But the single player campaign was shitty and I never really got into to the multiplayer so I don't think I'll be buying any Halo games.

Fuck all that pansy ass borderlands, halo, gears, black ops, campfare shit. Only things I have been playing are Motha fuckin' Jet Set Radio, Sonic Adventure 2, and the ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT GEM of an awesome game Happy Wars, I was so glad I got in on the Beta weeks ago for the sole purpose of playing Happy Wars.

...Did you say Jet Set Radio and Sonic Adventure 2? THOSE GAMES WERE MY CHILDHOOD, MAN. Played JSRF and JGR on Dreamcast + Xbox, and Sonic Adventure DX and Sonic Adventure 2 Battle on the Gamecube. Loved those games. :D
