Hello guys and as you may have read the title I have an idea for an osu update... My idea would be to put a video for every one that is unlocked

Details: The video will be visible only to the user who unlocked the Achievements, and the theme of the video is a funny animation which lasts about a few of seconds (again referencing all'Achievements unlocked of course) :)

So I would like to know what do you think of this idea...

i'm gonna say no sorry, cause after awhile, it'll start taking a while to load for those who have a lot of the achievements *coughcoughUancough*

I think hes talking about an animation in-game when you receive an achievement.... Kinda like the old burnout games.

Welp my opinion is no, It would add bulk the game and serve as more novelty than function but I will admit that the achievements could use a better notification method ingame.

ie you will be in the animation game but if you want to review the animation you can always go on your page osu (ideas are always remember ...)

There isn't a real gameplay purpose here... it's just something fancy for making the unlocking of the achievements funnier.

He's talking about when you unlock an achievement that it plays a short video with a "good job" type thing. For instance, you unlock "Don't let the bunny distract you!" and it plays a 5~10 second video of Pippi playing, seeing a bunny, wandering off, then a big in your face picture of the achievement with sparkles and shyt and then back to the game. He doesn't mean animated .gif achievement pictures, and on another note to that, if done right, animated .gif and apng can easily be smaller file size than most static images of the same pixel size due to certain other file formats and such.

Does somebody here care about the achievements (especially the Hush-Hush ones)? I mean, nobody knows how to unlock them, so your only possible reactions when you unlock one are:

I don't see a real use for this atm, there are so many necessary features that have yet to be implemented, maybe when osu! is in a really good state and we can put in fancy stuff like this
