I believe I saw this suggested somewhere in #osu, but simply a #multi which is automatically opened as the main tab when you enter the Multiplayer lobby.

Maybe include this on a trial basis? I don't spend much time looking for multi games but this might be useful for the people that do. Or it might just end up being another dead channel.
