Interesting. This would be a nice test of my building skills.
Just showing what I want to replicate on the server (though it's going to take some time...)
Offline mode screenshots

LWC, towny and togglepvp are now enabled on the server
additionally, i've disabled firespread, tnt and a few other things (namely any non-op teleport command)
i've also banned hurpdurpington and echoimpact and will be looking up their osu! accounts when i can be bothered

That should help give us a chance to rest easy on and offline without much issues then. Though, i'm going to miss the TNT since I was using them as landmines before.
i've just enabled mineshafter authentication so that pirated copies can happily play with us!

Edit: Also would be nice to learn how LWC works, i already saw the commands, but im not sure how it chooses which blocks to protect or something? since when i protected the door it also protected a stone block apparently, yet i cannot protect individual stone blocks or the crafting bench.

lwc basics:
/cprivate - locks the next unclaimed chest you punch to you
/cmodify <username> - adds a player to your claimed chest/furnace thing
it's that simple.

you don't actually need mineshafter to access the server unless you have a pirated copy of minecraft... dunno if that'll change with osu! auth though!

Follow the instructions in the OP and you can play without paying. Make a minecraft.net account (you don't need to buy minecraft, just make an account there) and link it with Mineshafter and you can connect to osu!craft again.BrokenArrow wrote:

What's the point in letting people join who didn't pay for minecraft? Anyway I managed to connect again by not using this tool. (I thought everyone has to use it)

You can lock chests now. Nothing will be done about lost items. Just keep them safe yourself. Admins do not have the ability to give items etc.BrokenArrow wrote:

I opened up Echo and Hurp's stash and said to sync to go nuts. I don't know how much you guys got back, but my intention was for all of it to be returned. Glad lwc+pvptoggle was added.

If you need help with plugins, just shout, I'm Essentials support staff so if there's one thing I know about it's Essentials, GroupManager and just about any other plugin.
Also if you REALLY want to use offline mode, however much I despise the idea, use xAuth, it can allow ops not to be ghosted and password protect them too afaik.

That's easily done if you know how to modify the source a tiny bit and the dev for the plugin is quite nice and really flexible so you probably would just have to ask him to do it and he would do it.

And ephemeral / peppy are banning people for griefieng on the server in osu!, so they won't even try to do this, when they can lose their accounts.

Anyone interested in a clean start near the coast and with an expansive cavern-mine to discover is free to join my town/nation - currently it's just Adarin and I, and we produce enough food for about thirty people.

Chiwi-nyaaw and me had to much wheat in our chest, so we decide to go give it away. So i walked across the map to give to the players our things, and i finally arrive to your house.
There was Sakura so i decide to throw the wheat everywhere around her (In the mines), then i gave her my eggs that i had founded around the woods near chiwi house.
Finally, i washed your windows with my wheat cause i was bored.

Bah, I'm too used to easy mod installation with external launchers that shafter doesn't support, minecraft keeps crashing if I try to add them manually, and if I don't use mods the aliasing makes me sick

Players can also make their own impromptu trading stores with the Trade signs as shown here: ess.khhq.net/wiki/Sign_Tutorial
Towns should start working together and begin saving money, because you can purchase some nice stuff with a little bit of work:
Shopkeepers will be sold in a week or so, and you will be able to place them in designated trading posts linked to a chest, allowing for direct item-to-item trades. These will cost anywhere from 10-20k, so start saving!
Towns which desire to have a trading post attached to their lands must save up at least 100k and not be within 200 tiles of another town at the time of purchase. A shopkeeper will be going up in the spawn trading post in the next few days who will be selling 5 parts of the next trading post deed for an unspecified price in diamonds. The town/nation which wishes to own the next trading post must collect all 5 pieces - yes, this means that other towns may purchase a part of the trading post deed and bargin with the holders of the other parts for wealth and glorious riches!
