Well, Kai was meant to be an answer to the whole thing. So if you prefer it to be vague, then it's logical if you found it boring.

Again, Kai is the answers to Higurashi (and I'm sure you know this). So it's logical if it's slower than the first one.

Kai is a bit slow compared to the first season, but if you liked it you must watch Kai too, don't you want to know the ending of the story?
