Game Flow
Before the game begins, people sign up by posting in this thread. When enough players are signed up, at the discression of the mod, the game will begin.
Mafia games begin at the Day phase and transition from Day to Night and back to Day. Days and Nights are numbered. The first Day is Day 1, the first Night is Night 1 which always follows Day 1, the second day is Day 2 which always follows Night 1, etc.
During the Day, players discuss and take action depending on their goal. Townies are trying to figure out who the Mafia are, and Mafia are trying to distract the Townies to prevent themselves from being killed. Each Day, players may vote for whoever they choose. After a player accumulates a certain number of votes, or the deadline is reached, that player is lynched and the game transitions to the Night phase.
During the Night, players may NOT talk in this thread. Players MAY communicate with other players IFF their role says so. All Night actions are to be done during the night. The Night phase ends either at the deadline or when all players with Night actions have submitted their action. After the Night ends, the game transitions to the Day phase.
End Conditions
Win and lose conditions will be announed. LyLo will be announced as well, which is a situation where the Mafia will win if a Mafia player is not lynched during the day. To speed up the end of the game, if the Town does not have the majority in terms of players, the game ends with a Mafia win.

General Rules
- Unless otherwise stated in your Role PM, this game takes place in this thread only. Do not discuss it anywhere else. Doing so will get you modkilled or immediately replaced, depending on the severity of the offense. (This is important for Mafia games.)
- Do not quote any PM, part or whole, you receive from the mod. This includes fake or erroneous quoting. Breaking this rule will get you modkilled.
- If you believe the mod has made an error, send him a PM. Please do not post about such things in the thread.
- If you have anything (other than the above) you need the mod to read or address, indicate that statement clearly in a post in this thread, e.g. "Mod: You're the best."
- A player who is modkilled will lose the game, regardless of whether their teammates eventually win.
- Any voting action must be bolded, as such: Vote: person
- You may vote to end the day without a lynch by voting as such: Vote: No Lynch
- You may unvote if you wish to remove your vote from someone. Unvoting before placing a new vote is not necessary, but is appreciated. Unvote as such: Unvote
- A lynch occurs immediately when a single player has an absolute majority of votes against them.
- At deadline, half of the votes that would normally be required are enough to lynch a player. In the event of a draw, the player who had the most votes before being tied will be lynched. If no player can be lynched by these conditions, no lynch will occur for that Day.
- Once a lynch occurs, the Day is considered to be over. Do not post again until the next Day begins, especially if you are the player who was lynched that Day.
- On death, the role of the player who died will be revealed.
- Any modkill will end the Day.
- Once a player is dead, they cannot contribute any more to the game. They are not to post anything.
- Please treat this game as a commitment.
- Each Day will have a preset and fixed deadline of 1 week. Deadlines are permanent except in specific circumstances at the discression of the mod.
- If a player has not posted in 48 hours, they will be prodded by the mod iff requested to do so by another player.
- Prods must be responded to in this thread.
- A player who doesn't respond to their prod within 48 hours will be replaced.
- If you are going to be unable to post for over 48 hours, please leave a note in thread.
- Be courteous and respectful to other players.
- Blatantly antisocial and offensive behaviour or personal attacks will be grounds for a replacement or a modkill at the mod's own discretion.
- Finally, Mafia is for fun, so enjoy yourself!
