Oh, you mean the timing point turns out that it should be before the spinner starts. Thanks for pointing that out :D

Edit: Btw, do you have any suggestions about the combo color? My plan is to change color according to the voices said (Yellow for Len, Green for GUMI, Pink for Rin) just like in english subs of the song.

I'll try to get you in the right direction then~

[GUMI]
  1. This is a bit too hard for a normal Difficutly so either map an extra easier diff or lets try to reduce the difficulty a bit~
  2. 00:24:214 (1,2) - Spacing error, resnap with distance snap.
  3. 00:27:586 (4) - Flip that slider horizontally (ctrl + j), looks better then just in a row.
  4. 00:33:266 (4) - Unsnapped Slider (timing), I'd suggest to shorten the slider by one repeat and to add a Note at 00:33:976 - instead. Its easier and less surprising to play~
  5. 00:35:574 (1,2,3) - Fix spacing please~
  6. 00:38:236 (3,4,5) - This looks ugly, try something like thisinstead.
  7. 00:43:916 (3,4) - Bad overlay again, I suggest: http://puu.sh/DBxP
  8. 00:46:223 - Unsnapped Green line. (Btw, please don't switch Slider velocity on the easiest diff :/ )
  9. 00:57:938 (1,2) - ouwch, you need to work on these sliders o.0
  10. 01:03:618 (1,2) - Horizontal Flip (ctrl+j) these to avoid overlay with the next slider~

Second half looks much better somehow, though not quite as good as it could be ^^

Here's a short Checklist what to do on this diff in general:
- Recheck and resnap the whole spacing between the notes again, what I mentioned above was just the tip of the icemountain, there's much more.
- Resnap every Green Timing line, if you look closely it has got a bit og due to offset-changes I guess.
- Work on you sliders, rly many of them are crumped right now. There's a good Thread which explains how to make them prettier easy: http://osu.ppy.sh/forum/viewtopic.php?f=56&t=37194


So, let's get a quick look over your Hard/Insane:

  1. Okay eeeehm, this is like almost the same as GUMI I believe lol

Well, some parts seem new though. The point is that you have done the same errors as above.
So if you follow that checklist your Map should look much better in any case.
I would suggest to remap that Hard with a bit higher Slider Velocity to have some variation in this mapset, but thats up to you.

You still seem to need some more practice to make a really good map, but that's totally okay for a second Map.
I myself needed 4 pending maps and 11 month time to get one map ranked XD

But all in all The Rythm Patterns are quite okay, so I'm looking forward that you can improve this map and your personal Mapping skills by far~

Dude it's like scary how similar some of this stuff is to the harder diff. Like, all I'm gonna say is that you should re-map it. I'm getting the feeling that you had your insane diff, went "Save as new diff", changed a few notes, and called it a hard. Probably re-map it so it's its own map instead of a modified insane~.

I do think those styles of mapping, I got em from one year of Osu! playing experience. There's still a lot more to learn, and I will be better in a jiffy. ;)

And, yes CDFA. I started the map creation from Hard, then I recycle it for Normal diff. And, it's still my first ever Normal diff creation. I do re-map some parts to make it easier, but I think you're saying it's not re-mapped enough and still have lots of parts from Hard. I will try to re-map it from square one and see what I can get. Thanks a lot for pointing it out. :D

I know. I don't have any better ideas about those sliders! I'm gonna need to think of more beautiful sliders to work with.

If you haven't finished making ALL diffs, don't place it on Pending, since it means it's still WIP. Pending means ALL diffs are completed, not just two of them. Also, it's not recommended to ask for a mod if your mapset is still missing some diffs.

I might mod this later, by the way.

I guess I still have to put it back to the WIP section, but I do need some guest diffs to cover up more diffs for this song.

It is. I simply recycled the map from the Hard diff (which is actually where I start making it first) and added more sliders to try making this beatmap easier. I will start fixing em up and re-map it soon enough.

Not guessing. This is actually a new feature.

Nope, looks like I can't make one because I have too much things to do. Sorry for that :\

About inserting a guest diff to your mapset, just throw it inside your map's folder, use standard submission, and then you have a new diff :P

  2. While on normal hitsound sections, try adding claps according to the song. Don't add claps or whistle randomly since it didn't matched with the song

I know. CDFA's modding told me to do the same. Actually, right now I'm placing hitsounds to make the beatmap better. Well at least I'm done now. Thanks to your help, I've placed more sliders to fill out the empty parts on both diffs :D

Btw, maybe since the Normal diff now has 4 stars, I'm going to make the diff easier by changing the SV to 1.0 and re-adjust the sliders all over again :roll:

Oh yeah one more thing, 2 mods remaining and I need an Easy GD :o

Feel free to keep your beatmap in Pending if someone you don't ask to make a diff offers to make one at least a few days after all the diffs in your mapset is considered completed.

It's a wise and correct move. Remember, when I said all diffs, I meant ALL (capitalization and underlining for the sake of emphasizing the word). Including the guest diffs.

And by unexpected offers, I mean the condition where someone offers to make a diff you don't expect someone to offer. I'll let that slip and keep my thread in the Pending forum if that's the case, but if I'm actually expecting the diffs to come by opening the GD slots... Yeah, I'll keep my thread in the WIP forum if the guest mappers haven't finished their diffs yet.

00:26:327 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - this part will be hard for beginners since this one is on red section, try this:

00:33:249 (4,5) - super hard for beginners, please separate them
00:53:483 (2,3) - this overlap is looks ugly
00:56:678 (4,5) - too hard
01:37:324 (1,2) - this is unrankable issue, since the repeat arrow on 2 is partially covered by the 1's end.
01:42:116 (3) - on the easiest diffs the way of the slider is must clearly seeable
02:01:996 (5) - please do not use more than one repeat on the easiest diffs
02:22:408 (4) - this is looks ugly here, just use a simple curved slider
03:16:011 (4,5,6) - ugly overlap
03:18:851 (8,1) - unrankable

Okay, now just a few more things. Try to use distance snap everywhere and not snap object on the easiest diffs. In overall this diff is kinda boring, since you used slider-slider-note-note-slider-slider.

Yeah I was using Normal made out of Hard actually. I'm planning for a re-map for the normal diff. I got more experienced now (Created the beatmap while I was still nearly total noob a month ago), so I will do that soon.

And, most of the newer changes and fixes (Including timing points to put out custom slider tick sounds) got reverted a few mods back after a major flaw in my beatmap a few days ago. I think you saw the map looked better a while ago, then suddenly got worse, right? >_<

But, overall what's done is done. That's life, anything can happen. :)
Btw, Thanks a lot for the mod, I'll fix it up with yours along with re-doing the mods I accidentaly reverted. :D

To be worse, I'm using my Recycle Bin as a useless thing with 0% space. So I deleted my map from my whole com. o.o So I needed to redoing all changes (pretty much remap the whole map), to get back what I lost. o.o

Anyways, If you remapped the normal, get all diffs, etc, just post into my queue, don't care if it not open. I will look after your map and maybe I will give a star to. :3

Hehe, I really appreciate your kindness and understanding. At least you understand what I'm trying to say, I felt better now, I was full of concerns with mods such as yours before that, and now I also felt bad for your pretty bad start. :(

Pretty much that's all for now. I think you should use 1.0x distance spacing (Alt+mouse wheel and look at the upper right corner), but this is just a suggestion. I tried to remove you 1/1 repeat sliders since those are hard for beginners. I think I did it tho I left some of them since they aren't sounds bad at there. I wanted to check your placement too, but that will take too much time. Try to use more curved slider and go for the flowing. Your map is currently luck a good flow. And try to implement some interesting pattern too, like star, they looks very good and gives something to your map.

I hope I sad everything what I wanted to. o.o I give you a star now, but not because your map is good. I give it to you because I want you to work harder than before on this mapset. Good luck and call me if you need or you don't understand something on my mod.

so my solution is to move 01:44:068 (2) - about 4-5 grids right

will it look better ? , yes , it does. and you don't need to care the distance on the top right hand side much if it isn't different more than 0.15 (for me)

And , how to know you should move right 4-5 grid or something like this ? , use your eyes to see and estimate the range between each note and separate them equally by the spacing you have used it in each diff (as you see , about 4-5 grids right makes the middle of slider look far from 01:43:003 (5) - about 0.8x)
that's all you should rearrange them once again and it will become very nice diff :P

  2. I personally see some NC problems, but I'm too tired of the problems to tell all of them. Just a note: If a combo's object goes over 7, evaluate the combo and decide if it's okay to leave it like that.
  3. I also dislike how the flow goes on 01:31:643 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1) (and this happens frequently), but remembering the "Spokesman" map you asked me to testplay a few days ago... looks like it's your mapping style. Can't be helped, I guess.
