Players may think I'd hate long games because it means a longer game and keeping track of more players, but actually, I personally like longer games with more players, because it's more interesting due to all the various personality types and strategies. It's fun to watch a longer game unfold as people start trusting each other, voting people off, discovering double/triple/quadruple-crossers and trying to then get them voted off, all while trying not to get lynched themselves.

Although that is statistically likely, it depends on who's playing.

I figure it'll be interesting as long as outgoing personalities manage to stay in the game.

Okay, people, roles have been decided.

Rather than pull them out of a hat, as I have done with the previous two WWGs, I've switched it up a bit.

The theme for this game is aliens, and therefore I had an alien movie-loving friend of mine (whom I live with) to assign your roles for you. For the record:

* He does not know any of you (as he doesn't play Osu) and therefore could not have been biased in the field of favoritism.
* I did not question any of his decisions.

I will not say much about the numbers and types of roles used aside from the following hints:

* There won't be a Guardian Angel this time; the Aliens' technology would go right through a GA protection. :p
* The Mad Scientist role will be used. ^.^
* Due to the nature of this game, viewer discretion is advised there will be multiple Vigilantes. o.o

Expect Role ID's in the next few hours; after all confirmations are in, it will be game time!!

'Kay. My Status post is updated with all the confirmations I've gotten so far.

Edit-in: I've also added stipulations in the rules for public confirmation of being a Human, and something which would have been unforseen until today: a stipulation in the event of multiple Vigilantes killing each other. (The other rules remain unchanged.)

The other two in the chan wondered where I got "Alien == Wolf" from and I guess they missed this. I took your statement to mean the Aliens are the Wolves. Are the Wolves known as Aliens in this game?

I mainly wanted to clarify for you, Rolled. Didn't know you knew Alien == Wolf, too; it sounded like you didn't. I just wanted to check with the host and have everyone else know.

These Aliens (I'm not gonna tell how many there are :p) have an Alien Overlord ("Werewolf Pack Leader") capable of Probing ("Sniffing") people at Night. o.o Better watch your asses - literally!! MUAHAHAHAHA!!

Kuu: You can discuss, it's just that since the game hasn't started yet, you can't vote yet.

Rolled: In WWG1 and 2, there was no need for a discrete deadline, as everyone confirmed their roles; this is the first time it's taken this long for everyone to confirm. As this is a precedent for me, I'll give this serious consideration.

Derekku: Every Role ID distributed is important, even Civvies, as it helps keep the balance; therefore, if those two don't confirm and I decide to start anyway, I MUST redistribute any Alien or Aux Roles those players may possess to people who are currently ordinary Civilians (a policy I've actually had for a while, but never had to mention).

(If several people - enough to upset the overall approximate Human to Alien ratio - were to not reply, I would then have to do a complete scrap-and-redistribute of all Role IDs, but I don't believe that is warranted in this case.)

I'd be guessing that yes, a player could have a second gun, If the gun was found by a vigilante who hadn't fired theirs yet.
