Also, Diffu is, dunno, is not my way. BKB instead of linken and Assault Cuirass/Terrasque is a must.

Basher is actually a viable choice, especially when you upgrade it to Abyssal Blade. He's easily kiteable and you want to get as much dmg as possible out of the little time he got ulti and you can't depend on team support if you go chase off a hero on your own

Vlads, Medallion, BKB, PT/BoT, Necro/Basher->Abyssal, HoT/AC is what I usually build in that exact order

I never said it wasn't viable, i said it was typical pub trash.

If you farm basher into abyssal it usually means you're going to be useless for quite a while, it also means you won't be able to push as hard as you need an insane amount of farm for abyssal. BoT in a pro game won't get you far either.

Lycan isn't "easily" kiteable, what the fuck? he runs at a 522 move speed and can't be slowed, if that's "easily" kiteable then i don't know what the fuck is hard. You want a Force/Dagger/blink skill to manage to get away from him(stun if he doesn't have bkb), and not every hero has that.

If the situation calls for it, get a BKB up asap after vlads/med/PT, if they don't have too many stuns, you get a necro book up which will improve your pushing potential by a lot. After that you buy AC/Deso OR IF YOUR TEAM LACKS STUNS YOU CAN GET A BASHER.

But in pubs people don't play him like that, and people don't know how to properly play against him, so he just farms jungle for 30 minutes and come out with mega items that will melt anyone he hits.

btw naix wont even beat lycan 1v1 in 90% of cases until like 50 mins in. slardar doesnt do that great either. ck and naga are two of the best ways to deal with lyca

DOTA 2 BOTS
- Improved how bots manage their movement while doing evasive maneuvers -- they will now consider a range of escape directions and select the best one based on other nearby avoidance zones.
- Added avoidance to Disruptor's Kinetic Field (while it's forming) and Static Storm.
- Improved how bots request items from the stash via the courier. The courier will now only deliver items the hero has room for, and bots will take into account projected item combines.


VISUALS
- Added overhead messages when items or abilities cause unnatural mana gain or loss (such as Arcane Boots).

It was just not possible in DotA 1 because Refraction was based on a heal there. Now it really blocks the damage and so Blink is not disabled.

Anyway one can see this as a buff, since Refraction got somehow nerfed with it's big visual effect.

But if this was unintentional...lol. Why did Valve already added her to -cm?

I think it's funny how a CM with boots is barely faster than a CK with absolutely nothing, running away from CK is futile until you have some kind of escape spell, get drums & phase boots up on him and even Clinkz with Skeleton Walk has a tough time running. It's alright he's the fastest hero in the game but the fact that he's also got one of the highest dmg outputs with 200-dmg stun on Lv1 & base damage 'n stuff...
(Also, his ultimate is too OP with armlet -_-"")

Chaos Bolt deals 1-200 damage atlLevel 1. Not really that OP, since Shadow Strike deals exactly 200 damage at level 1(not counting magic resistance)

Happens at times unfortunately, the incidents every MOBA player has at least once in his career ... I remember losing games with 27-3-20 or 21-7-14 stats with Invoker, teamfights went well until the time dragged the game so far that everyone from the enemy team had BKB and just trampled down my 4 teamm8s who were not much than very bad.

But I SERIOUSLY agree on that Refraction thing with TA. Especially the way it influences the pro-scene, she's like a reliable surviver unless you waste a ton of chain stun on her to kill all the refraction charges and then try to prevent the dagger out. Though on the other aspects she's slighty weaker, her projectile is slower and the refraction shows up every time she takes damage, even when in invis mode. If she's in meld or invisibility with Refraction, hit a AoE spell on her and you will see her shield and then see her position.

Looking forward to Nyx Assassin/Naga Siren/both

- Templar Assassin: Fixed Refraction being dispellable.

Exort gives more balance & variation... it's called Exort build but in the end that only counts for the early-(mid?)game though and ends up in an overall build.
I go 1-1-4 => 4-1-4 => 4-4-4/4-1-7 => 4-4-7/4-7-4/4-4-7 This means a lot more skills you can use and with an early Aghanims you will have a lot more nuke power(even without it).
If you go Wex/Quas build you will definitely have 2-7-1 by lv13 and all you'll have is Cold Snap-Tornado-EMP + Invis. It's just too ineffective even if you have high mobility instead of just dominating the lane much more with higher base dmg & casually helping out with Sun Strike.
The only phase for W/Q build should be when the others are very disarmable by EMP (no mana) or you have the need to be running away from their heroes 24/7.

Though this is all based on my personal opinion, Exort(->overall) for me is stronger than Wex-Quas in all phases of the game

Exort build is best paired with an early euls. You can kill any hero in a solo gank once you get your euls (given you have the ability too).

And aghas is not the best item for invoker, since it lowers your ulti CD by around 3 seconds, and you can get a hex for same price, but better effect.

BOTS:
- Significant revision of how bots determine their strategic desires.
- Roshan desire has been significantly reworked. It's now based on how quickly Roshan can be killed given the available heroes and how quickly enemies can show up.
- Evasion desire is now more granular. Things like Blade Fury now cause a range of evasion desire based on the bot's current health.
- Fixed case where bots were trying to path to an invalid location when defending their base.
- Made bots more aggressive about attacking when defending a lane.
- Cleaned up inferred human modes for pushing and defending lanes.
- Made bots less concerned about distance when considering an attack on a pinged target.
- Fixed bug that made pinged towers less likely to attract allied bots that were doing other high-priority stuff.
- Tuned retreat desire values when hurt and close to the fountain.
- Made bots somewhat more likely to buy a flying courier.


WORKSHOP:
- Added a new Import Wearable option to the Publish New Item section of the in-game workshop UI. It will compile, validate, and preview your model before you submit it. When submitting, it also packs the files into a format that makes it much easier for us to bring it into the game.

- Added notification for when a Tournament has a live game currently running.
- The kill card now shows a randomly selected item that the killer is wearing. Also reduced its size.
- Fixed equipping an item in the backpack not jumping to the correct hero in the loadout
- Added Buyback to the spectating stats dropdown.
- Added a cooldown for being able to find a match when a player declines or abandons a game.

VISUALS:
- Fixed Rubick retaining incorrect skins from stolen abilities when returning to his normal model.
- Meld damage display is now only shown for successful hits.


BOTS:
- Significant revision of how bots determine their strategic desires.
- Roshan desire has been significantly reworked. It's now based on how quickly Roshan can be killed given the available heroes and how quickly enemies can show up.
- Evasion desire is now more granular. Things like Blade Fury now cause a range of evasion desire based on the bot's current health.
- Fixed case where bots were trying to path to an invalid location when defending their base.
- Made bots more aggressive about attacking when defending a lane.
- Cleaned up inferred human modes for pushing and defending lanes.
- Made bots less concerned about distance when considering an attack on a pinged target.
- Fixed bug that made pinged towers less likely to attract allied bots that were doing other high-priority stuff.
- Tuned retreat desire values when hurt and close to the fountain.
- Made bots somewhat more likely to buy a flying courier.


WORKSHOP:
- Added a new Import Wearable option to the Publish New Item section of the in-game workshop UI. It will compile, validate, and preview your model before you submit it. When submitting, it also packs the files into a format that makes it much easier for us to bring it into the game.
