Skipping Songs when everyone fails in Multiplayer

It happens sometimes that when we're playing in Multiplayer, someone chooses like an impossible 5 minute Song for us. So everyone fails after about 5 seconds. Than we can wait either for 5 minutes to see the failed Song finished (its not that fun playing a failed Map, where you can hardly catch anything) or everyone but someone leave the room to rejoin it then.

My request: Put something like a Skip button (like the one to skip intro), when everyone failed the song.

That would really make me happy :)

Well, havent you ever thought of "How much harder is this song, if it was one difficulty harderr" and then reliazed that that difficulty is like impossible.

Its not like only somebody would have to choose, I would love to have it like the intro skip button, where the intro is only skipped when everyone agrees with that, so if someone would want to continue the game, it would just do, even if everyone else doesnt want it to.

Since difficulty levels are pretty well defined within a mapset (each difficulty level is usually quite a bit of a step up beyond the previous diff in most mapsets), a lot of the blame falls on you for playing the map. If the mapset was a new map for everyone besides the leader, then just make sure the person never picks such difficult songs again.

As for a temporary solution, you can all just leave the room (by pressing esc) and create a new room.

Impossible difficulty maps only happen to me on AR10 maps, at which point I just alt tab out. You're waiting for people to DL the next song anyway. If you can't wait that long, quit and make a new game.

I support that there could be an option In-Game where you vote for the song to end if everyone fails (this button should appear when you fail, and 1/2 +1 votes should be required). Or having an option where the host can determine before-hand the same thing.

I think it would be really nice... and the working mode must be the same as intro skip but with a more complex vote method...

I mean, like this:

Forced End will be available only if 1 or 2 players are alive...

If there are 3 players alive or more, the voting method will be unavailable...

If there are 1 or 2 players alive, the voting method will be available:

Then,

If the room is full and 2 players are alive and 3 players request forced end, it will continue... But if 4 players request forced end, it will be force ended... (Because a full room is 8-2= 6 , and 4 is more than the half of 6...)

If the room is full and 1 player is alive and 3 or more players request forced end, it will be force ended... (I really have not a argument for this, because 3 is the minus than the half of 7, but i think there isnt a problem if the song is forced to end in this way... just because we cant fragment people into pieces... and 7 is not par and well... you know...)

i dont think this one as a good idea and i aint gonna supporting this one.
perhaps it aint funny to play in a failedmapmode but it helps you to practice that map without worrying something like "OH SHIT MY ACC IS GONNA DROP DOWN". besides we can see who is better, and we can learn much from those better players. what is Multiplayer for if you even quit it after you fail? peppy made you to be able to still playing it eventhough you failed already, which means peppy beg you not to quit like that and just have fun along with the other players. am i right?
i enjoy it myself cz whenever i fail, i'll keep trying to hit the circles and i become much better after that step by step.

if you said the circles are hard to be seen, then just suggest for the circle color when it goes to fail. that's all i can say.

I think skipping should be only available when everyone has failed, and the skipping should only happen when everyone has voted for the skip (just like when skipping the intro). Forcing people to leave a song while in the middle of it would make some people rage (or at least that would be only me).

Nay, I enjoy songs that are nearly impossible to beat. If you don't feel like playing it just afk until its over, gives you time to rest anyway.

If you end up playing a marathon map its your fault. Here's your choices.

-Check the length of the map when you download it
-Man up and play.
-Hit escape twice

emmmmm.....I think it can work like this: If someone failed in MP games, he can back to this home to wait, if everyone do this, you can fast skip a song you didn't complete. If someone can complete, maybe you will wait a few minutes....
