I'm going to necro this since it's interesting to see what mappers and mapping styles people enjoy. Also, I searched for a thread and didn't find one.

Favorite things about maps:
1. Middle-centric patterns or pattern groups (does not have to be symmetrical)
2. Jumps, or changing distance spacing across a map
3. Streams in 165-180 bpm range
4. Maps with lots of 1/2 spaced clicking in them
Things I hate:
1. Breaks, or slow parts that are longer than 20~25 seconds
2. Overmapping (any click on a note that doesn't match the song)... but some of my favorite mappers are overmappers? wtf
3. Map-specific skins (love a good storyboard, never ever delete backgrounds, almost always play *with* video, but can't stand custom skins)
4. Snake-style (when you can basically just draw a line that goes across all the notes you need to click on without really turning/bending much... zzz)
other mappers not listed in sig:
hoLysoup, cRyo[iceeicee], Mixagji, La Cataline, NatsumeRin, ykcarrot, gowww
